Need to print and frame that one.View attachment 354273
Mom, I’ve made it. VIP status at Islas incoming
Hot take, two things can be true.First, I'm a bit annoyed by that, because it delays his enrollment at Miami.
But it appears the Judge wants to hear oral argument and then issue a ruling on all relief before allowing enrollment to proceed.
He wouldn't want to let Mensah enroll and then have something unforeseen happen and be forced to walk it back.
Tldr, Mensah will be allowed to enroll, but I expect there will be a damages payout per the terms of the contract.
Expensive transfer.
Agree.Hot take, two things can be true.
1) We have the money, we’re desperate / we will get him. He will be a stud here an offense will perform far better next year. We probably win last night with him at qb.
2) This is kind of good for CFB if we have to pay some damages.
Nobody knows. Miami would have to make an exception for an enrollment past the deadline. Will he be enrolled in time for spring practice?
they showed this on some podcast last night with the scores of all 12 games- that indeed if Miami had never scored an offensive TD they would still have won 8 games. This reminds me I saw a stat once (did not verify it) that the 2001 team would’ve won 8 games without a single offensive touchdown during the season.
I haven't seen anything official but it's usually early March. Last year it was March 3.Nobody knows. Miami would have to make an exception for an enrollment past the deadline.
Anyone know when spring ball starts this year?
Also, good for CFB if it forces change. I hate the current system, but as long as it's the system, we have to work within it to our advantage. The payout we got this year is monumental, and schools know that.Hot take, two things can be true.

I'm a doubting Thomas, and I can't help it.Canes already got their QB, Mensah has signed. Multiple people have alluded to it.
It’s not a matter of IF Mensah comes, but when.
Same thing as Wisconsin. All to try and set precedent. Duke also would love to scare mensah back, achieve damages in excess of 4M, and make things difficult for Miami.I think Duke is doing this to prevent/scare this from happening again to other players from other schools.
Do we play duke this upcoming season?
In court papers this kid should start alluding to Duke’s efforts to pursue him while at Tulane.
