Agree or disagree... this upcoming game should be about the pass game...

Agree, but Definitely keep some play book in your back pocket so UNC wont know what hit them...

In seriousness, we have 3 weeks to UNC. So coaches need to get it straight. We still have great potential. I like our WR's they just need some seasoning and fine tuning.
I think Gattis is saving the play book for either Florida or Notre Dame game in 2025 😉

I know what I would do, 1st Q - RPO’s, TEMPO, and like you said pass heavy, get TVD comfortable, and work these **** kinks out against a live team.

If we come out looking like UF did against USF..I will start to look at Mario sideways. When you are crunched in between a disappointing loss (TAMU) and a big conference game (UNC) ....like the scenario UF was in.. your kids can come out flat. And thats how you get booed at home especially when our fanbase is still not over that TAMU loss. Mario needs to come and keep these kids focused, blow this team out, and use the next 2 weeks for UNC. If we sleepwalk like we did against Southern Miss...it could get ugly with the crowd.

That said, I agree with many posters on here. No more "keep some plays back for UNC" nonsense. That ship sailed with TAMU. Run every **** play you have in that playbook. Every single one. Scrap the ones that dont work.

And get these WRs as many live game reps as possible. They need them. Esp Brinson and BSmith. So if we have to throw the ball 60 times. So be it. If our WR core cant prove that they can get it going against Middle Tennessee State then how the **** are they going to fare against ACC caliber CBs?

were gonna blow out middle Tennessee. team is hot garbage. you can out talent them fairly easily.

the big one will be if change the approach and just focus on fixing the pass game. idc if we have to run 100 passing plays to get it done, but we need to see it on a live opponent. again, this is where starting slow vs southern miss hurts. we needed all those live reps clearly.

id love to see more of the 2 min offense we ran at the southern miss game. the uptempo helped TVD a lot

So I should take the -26.5? LOL. Jk.

I agree with the pace of the offense comment. Definitely need to go uptempo for live game purposes. If Gattis cant see thats what makes TVD more comfortable then his "I will run whatever scheme it takes to cater to my personnel" comment was all BS.

this isnt working and may not be fixed in season w the current personnel. you can't sacrifice your season bc of that. they got two weeks to figure it out come ACC play.

TVD should have 30ish passes by half. I normally would say put the backups in if we’re up big, but naw, give them as many reps as possible.

I guess that’s what a scrimmage game is for. Hopefully MT will bring 100,00 screaming fans to help us out.

Did he say to give jake a shot or just that we need to add more rpo?
its either you start to add in RPO to get TVD more comfortable or just change the QB to see if he can perform better in your system.

I get what your saying, but I don’t think Mario operates that way. He’s going to put in a game plan to win the game and not concern himself with trying to work on things we didn’t do well last week. That’s what practice is for. JMO
