Finished filing my agent application with the NFLPA and will be taking the exam in July.
Really hope this works out for you, but could you do us all a favor? Tell the underclassmen not to bolt early for that 5th round money. Thanks, and good luck.

That's the goal. I don't know each of these guy's financial situations so it's easy to comment from afar but I want to give everyone a clear understanding of the long-term ramifications.

Question for those of us curious...Is it not required to have a Law degree to become an agent?

Always do what is in your long term best interest. The data makes this choice pretty clear.Really hope this works out for you, but could you do us all a favor? Tell the underclassmen not to bolt early for that 5th round money. Thanks, and good luck.

No, but you must have some type of post grad degree, but doesn't matter the discipline. I will be graduating in May with a Master's of Law, which not many schools have. I chose this degree because I'm still taking contracts, negotiations, mediation, legal research, legal writing and some of the normal normal courses that JD students take. I finish my degree in 1 year while taking the classes that are actually beneficial for this job and get certified as quickly as possible rather than take a full 3 years to get the JD when I don't actually want to practice law.
