HopefullyIsn’t our adidas contract up next year?
After the Tennessee move, I guarantee Nike is looking for a school to make up for that loss. Not only would Miami make up for it, a winning Miami team would outsell almost every school they have. I have high hopes for the next year! The way adidas is moving in college athletics makes me wonder if Nike is still interested in that business. Similar to when they gave up on golf equipment.

It's funny that Adidas is always overspending, yet the programs that switch to them would always make more with Nike, right? lol. Funny how every program that goes from Adidas to Nike is proof of how garbage Adidas is. But in the reverse it's just smart business by Nike, and a mistake by the school in which they ultimately are somehow simultaneously following the money yet making the decision that results in less money too... Or maybe only we were that dumb I guess...So u think Adidas overspending for UTenn...
just this yr? Lol. UTenn wanted to stay w Nike, but on no planet (which I already told this board in the mega shoe thread) was Nike going to pay a UTenn team more than Bama (who’s coming up), O$U, UofM (who’s coming up), or UT. & UTenn will be replaced b/c there’s 2 add’l schools that most likely will be switching to Nike.
So kudos to UTenn breaking the bank on Adidas; I’ll give this reunion 5 yrs b4 both sides start complaining.
I get us old folks will always be Nike/Jordan over everything.. but these young kids do not feel the same at all.
Adidas making a lot of strategic moves the last few years.. let’s see if it pays off in the long run
Up to $20M per yearTennessee getting $20m a year from Adidas vs $5m from Nike, but no idea what the apparel/cash split is
Brother these kids feel the same about Jordan and Nike as we did. Jordan is actually hotter now than it’s ever been. I have a D1 commit that works for me when school is out and hes told me numerous times Jordan and Nike are the only shoe’s or cleat he’ll wear. Same with his teammates. He’s been at three HS’s and at all three the kids are in those two with very little adidas. Adidas will always be a tier two in America.I get us old folks will always be Nike/Jordan over everything.. but these young kids do not feel the same at all.

It’s hilarious that he tried to paint some as being out of touch when in reality his entire porst is the definition of being out of touch.Still time left to delete this.
