It's only his 2nd year just now, have no idea what the legal situation is looking like tho
its not resolved yet. until it is, hes on the team, but I would assume hes always going to be one thats at risk of getting kicked off and tbh, I would kick him off asap w how he was acting behind the wheel and he'd benefit from a real *** kicking behind bars

What's his physical condition? Is it likely to be a shirt this year?

Do you have knowledge of something more than his reckless driving? Not that I'm caping for the dude, I just found the second half of your comments to be a little harsh for a teenager being a dumb teenager....and I say this while agreeing with the first half of what you said. The "he would benefit from a real *** kicking behind bars" was what made me (respectfully) ask. I'm genuinely curious if there's more going on.

past history of street racing. had his charge dropped bc the cop forgot about the incident conveniently.

multiple citations of reckless speeding in Tampa area and miami.

this is an adult who never learned his lesson when he could have. It resulted in him recklessly killing multiple people and ripping a family apart. hes a dumbass who doesn't deserve the benefits and privileges of being a UM student athlete on scholarship getting paid.

these are just right before the incident -
  • March 1, 2025 — Cited for going 84 mph in a 55 in Clearwater. He chose to pay a fine and take a driving course.
  • March 29, 2025 — Cited for going 80 mph in a 45 in Miami-Dade.
the street racing was from Fall of 2024 and the case was dropped in feb 2025. then he decided to be a dumbass twice after that before paying the ultimate price in may

Maybe he's getting a suspension and consoling behind the scenes, maybe that's the only way he's staying on the team

I was aware of the past driving history. I agree with your sentiments in a general sense, especially since a family got ripped apart. I sort of deviate from your feelings when it comes to jailhouse justice solely because I think Adarius needs to actually pay a price for his crime(s) first before going to the lengths you're talking about. Specifically, when he got off on the reckless drivings, he needed more than a fine and a slap on the wrist. He needed a punishment with teeth like 30 days in the hoosgow. I believe punishments are doled out not solely for punishment's sake, but to help teach a lesson. By not being punished up until now, he's escaped the consequence(s) of his actions. Now, once he gets some sort of punishment with teeth, if he does it again, I'm cool with the jailhouse justice.

Just to keep it 100, my mom and dad both would've whooped my ázz had I gotten busted doing 80 in a 45. Then the keys would've been taken. So yes, I totally get where you're coming from. All I'm saying is that Adarius seems to have avoided any serious consequences up til now.

The car I had at that age could barely go 55 without falling apart let alone 80

thats what I meant about behind bars - 30 days or something. something where he has real consequences. rice from KC got 30 days for his stuff. this one resulted in three deaths. id like to see him in there for at least 3-6 months.

I just think he had enough lessons to learn from where he escaped consequences. I really hoped that the cop didnt do Mario a favor on the street racing charge bc at least he would have faced a misdemeanor at the very least and have to go through the system.

Give the kid the benefit of the doubt, this was not intentional. They call it an accident for a reason

Your literal point is correct.

However he has a patten of prior behavior. If he had zero traffic incidents of any kind, I wouldn’t even bat an eye. I mean from him being able to move on with his life, etc. It’s obviously beyond tragic and the law will have their say. But as far as football and not ruining his life for a true accident, I’m with you.

But buddy has a troubling pattern of behavior. Again, legal **** aside, imo he shouldn’t be kicked out of school or have his football career ended. But there have to be consequences for reckless REPEATED actions. He wouldn’t play football for me this year if it was my decision, that’s for sure. Use the time to work out, learn, show remorse, rehabilitate, etc. And if you’re a model ******* citizen and the judge doesn’t have your *** in a sling, we’ll re-evaluate in the spring.

It was reported here that he already totaled 2 previous vehicles, almost sideswiped a cop, and got pulled over for speeding/racing/reckless like 7 times.

Dude needs to not be associated with the program anymore.

It's crazy that Mario kept him around up til this fatal crash.

Dudes future isn't in football anyways.
