Adarius Hayes Charged in Deadly Crash

Absolutely senseless and reprehensible. You see people driving like that all over South FL. Whatever it is, it’s not worth dying nor losing your freedom over.
It's getting worse every day.

Obviously the problem is not limited to College Football but the fact all these kids are now getting paid means more of them have access to super fast cars. Schools have to do a better job of educating them on reckless driving and the consequences.

Amazing how lives change in the blink of an eye. And we can blame this on a lot of things, but it is mostly just about a young person making a bad decision. 30 year old Adarius Hayes would not have driven that fast as his brain would have further matured.

The frontal lobe of male brains (effectively the brakes on our emotions) does not fully develop until we are 25 years old. Unsurprisingly, most of our bad decisions are made before the age of 25.

At this point, would his best option be to go for a plea deal? He’ll be locked up for a long time, but it could also give the victims’ family some closure without the pain of a trial.

30yr old men don't make bad decisions because their frontal lobe is fully developed?

Our DoD studies indicate the male brain isn't "fully developed" until ~26 and females ~24.

Regardless, does not absolve one of foolish behaviors.

For the record, mine has yet to fully develop.
