If it is Jurich I can’t imagine he would have a problem hiring any coach, regardless of character. At least at Louisville, Jurich‘s coaches achieved great success but were not exactly “high character” guys; Petrino and Pitino.

Why would Jurich be a good hire?
What do you mean? He hired Petini, Baseball coach Dan McDonnell who has made that program a national contender, successfully replaced John L. Smith. Only bad hire was the hire after Petrino left the first time but he got every other one right PLUS he’s a football guy.

Gimme a guy who has interviewed and hired winners. They will have a good idea on who is or isn’t ready for this job.
