Do you really think the stadium would only be used for football games? Any type of sporting arena be it a football stadium, baseball stadium, hockey arena, basketball arena, NASCAR racing track, etc. are used throughout the year for concerts and many many other types of events.

Do you really think the stadium would only be used for football games? Any type of sporting arena be it a football stadium, baseball stadium, hockey arena, basketball arena, NASCAR racing track, etc. are used throughout the year for concerts and many many other types of events.

A stadium-sized venue actually near the center of Dade County would be busy the entire year, guaranteed. The Orange Bowl, as big of a hunk of crap as it was towards the end, hosted many random events and concerts all the time. It's a matter of will, which the people who run our school and AD simply don't have. Never have.

The first event that I remember attending at the Orange Bowl was a rodeo in 1949.

A very simple mind (not John Nash more Simple Jack) would believe the stadium could only be used for 7 home games a year and that is it.
 
It's tough to raise 5 million bucks and it's tough to **** it away paying a hump corch 5 million. But sometimes tough things are the only things worth doing.

Yet the university (Academic side) has no issue using the U symbol that was put on the scene by the football team.

If they had a clue on how to tie the 2 together, they both should be successful. You disagree with that?
