ACCN is a huge negative

I never said it was easy. I am sure it is back breaking work. I am sure you come home exhausted every night.
I bet you could earn at least minimum wage, if you were paid for being a CIS rockstar, but easy to get by when still living in mommy's basement isn't it, bud?

All this because a tv channel was added to the lineup that gives fans an opportunity to watch UM (possibly) more often?

Miami has always been a reported big tv draw, which leads to the theory that ESPN needs to put the higher draws (teams) on their new network as much as possible. The channel is a bit "hidden" on my cable provider, but at least it's there and provides an opportunity to catch additional UM games that may have been out of my viewing reach previously.

I am a fan of college football in total,,,,so I dig the fact that there is the ACCN, SECN and the Big Ten Network. More opportunity to watch more games across the board.

Look how hard it has been for die hard fans to get access. Before the ACCN our Hurricanes were often broadcast and recruits saw how often we were televised. Now with the limits recruits will get mostly SEC games, sucks!

Just drop off the N behind that C you got and now we talking! lol

The ACCN actually reaches about 56mil viewers with the latest deals (SECN is around 57). The markets for college sports are huge all across the country, but the fact that the ACC and SEC have such a big following show how big collegiate athletics are in the southeast and eastern coast. this was taken into consideration, among multiple other factors regarding demographics in planning for the launch of ACCN. The biggest question was always if it will succeed and have the same demand that SECN and Big-10 network have. Id say one place we fell short was not 'selling' it to enough of the providers and so there has been some scrambling to make it available through AT&T U-verse and AT&T TV for instance

Playing the long game. Actually distribution has gone better than I expected. Only one major left (Comcast) and we will be ahead of the game and get some extra $$ for the program.

Dennis Rodman is helping with negotiations between Comcast and ACCN. UM recruiting back on track.
Which one is Kim Jung Um or whatever his name is? Is it Comcast or ACC? I think Comcast is more evil so they're North Korea. They make their employees eat grass with a little bit of rice.

Typical CIS discussion:
A: I suggest hypothesis. What do you think?
B: I think your a dumbass.
C. Well, here's my logical contribution.
D. B, it's "you,re", moran.
E. C, you're wrong because reasons.
C: Here's my logic and supporting evidence.
E: C, you're a troll. You joined on xx/yy and have n posts.
C: E, You're a ****.
E: See it's always name calling with you.

might be for the best that most didn't see the CMU game. Silver lining

Actually, Rodham is negotiating a deal to get the ACCN in as the sole conference shown in North Korea. There's a big meeting being set up at Epstein Island, between Korean Leader Lil Kim and Kim Kardashian. ( Special Envoy for the ACC) A little Kimshu going on here. Lil Kim asked Rodman if he could borrow one of his outfits for the occasion. Can't be out Kimmed. A lifetime of Kardashian lipstick for Lil Kim might lock up the deal.

Holy crap, this thread is still alive. The ACCN is great for the team. Would be even better if we could be a good team. It’s less about the actual game and more about the 24/7 coverage we can receive. If we can be a winning team it’s another way to get extended positive exposure at all times of the day.

Hiding some of these performance might not be the worst thing in the world.
But it’s like a vicious cycle. No one sees us, so we get worse recruits. We perform worse, and then cable companies are even less likely to pick up the acc network
