ACCN is a huge negative

No, they don’t pick them out of random but UNC vs Miami for the last 5 or so years, probably even more has been nationally/regionally televised..even when Larry Scott was our coach lol..if you were being sarcastic then what is your overall point? On the southeastern region Miami stays on tv. The ACC Network only helps that. Now games vs Bethune-Cookman and CMU of the world aren’t on Fox sun sports or ESPN WATCH. Every Miami game will be able to be watched this year...so better off getting fire stick, sling or YouTube tv..idk why ppl still have cable contracts...we’ve sucked for the past 15 years..except for 17 and still our games will be nationally televised. It used to just be the FSU, Va Tech, a non conference, and a Thursday night game

I have ACCN. I am not the one complaining about it. I am telling the guys who are whining about it. If Miami wants to play on ABC or ESPN they need to start winning more games. UNC was expected to be the worst team in the conference this year and Miami was 0-1. That is why we got stuck on ACCN.

Nobody here thinks that. Alabama doesn’t play Charleston Southern on ABC or ESPN for that matter either if there is a more competitive matchup. Your point is silly.

No, but Alabama vs a decent SEC team will be on a regular network channel. Miami vs a decent ACC team may end up getting sent to the ACCN. My point is far from silly. Win more games and you will play less games on the ACCN.

How about you go take a look at the games that are on normal channels and compare the rankings to the teams that are playing on conf specific channels. Then get back to me before you make yourself look like an even bigger fool.
Just keep posting, you've already made yourself look like a dumbass by making the statement...dumbass.

Your only speculating and looking at, what you seem to think is a direct correlation with scheduling, and it's not. Some people actually KNOW this, and then there are people like you.

So once again keep posting. You obviously have no clue

LOL! I made myself look like the dumbass by posting facts? You make yourself look smart by posting nonsense. :rk5i6fxwjlgev5j6.jpg: :rk5i6fxwjlgev5j6.jpg: :rk5i6fxwjlgev5j6.jpg:

The networks want teams that are going to bring the most viewers. Teams who have winning records against P5 opponents are going to get more games on normal networks than an 0-2 team. The fact that you are actually disputing this is ******* hilarious.

Yes, your moronic point is documented for the world to see. Bravo. I find it hilarious that you are so proud of being ignorant.

When do you actually think the ACCN decides which games are going to be aired and where...do you even know that its completely owned by ESPN?

BTW that UM vs UNC game was announced to be played on ACCN in MAY!! It was decided weeks before it was announced.

Another thing you DONT know is that being its first season, all the parties involved want to see this network be a success. So while the rabid UM fans want to watch every game, they will do almost whatever it takes to gain access to this...the network(s) involved in this venture want 'marquee' match-ups that include P5 schools from other conferences (especially ACC vs schools outside of the SEC). Its about enticing rabid fans from outside the SE and East coast to purchase access to the network.

Oh, no one expects for them to bring in more than they give out right away...but smart people already knew that. Other dumbass people just think all the sorry games will be on the ACCN....

I could keep going and provide with other in depth details of how stupid and wrong you are....but I feel like you'll do a fantastic job of that yourself.

As I said before. What was UNCs record in May? How did Miami look in May? No one expected this to be a big game, which is why it got stuck on ACCN. Had Miami won the Coastal last year and UNC came 2nd in the Coastal. No chance this game was getting scheduled for the ACCN.

You could keep going with your *********, but you are just making yourself look dumber and dumber. Where are all these "marquee matchups" on the ACCN? If you want more games on the big channels, you win more games, simple as that.

Wow.

Its like trying to teach a dog to have a conversation.

...oh wait...simple as that...LMAO

I actually do feel like an idiot now for trying to get you to understand how this works....oh well. My bad, you go ahead being you, MF

And what was UNCs record in March fam?
The point is, you said unc vs Miami was on ACC Network based on two scrub teams not being able to make it on ESPN/ABC or whatever. As tho the tv schedules are fluid week to week like the NFL and fox(used to be based week too week), but tv schedules are usually made ahead of time. Therefore UNC vs Miami was scheduled to be on the ACC Network way back on March. Which clearly means no matter if both unc and Miami were 1-0 with Miami being ranked after beating UF, the game would’ve still been on ACC Network..ESPN also has a premade scheduling of games but 4 different channels, ESPN, ABC,ESPNU and ESPN 2 but the games that they show in primeTime, that 8pm slot(12pm,3:30pm and 8pm) gets determined week to week based on matchup..that part is true. But the fact remains, canes games are way more accessible now then they were when I was a kid

Now you know all about me?

How about working with a CIS Rockstar, 11k posts. Probably time to get out and see the world, there, Mr popularity!

"National TV" is no longer a valid term. I would be willing bet to be more recruits have hulu live, PlayStation Vue, YouTube tv, or other streaming services.

Give him time to process this.....he literally just learned how to use the word yokel in reasonable context. He's still celebrating that!

I never said it was week to week. I also never said, "had Miami beaten florida we would have played on ABC". I said, win more games, play less games on thhe ACCN. Had Miami won the coastal last year and UNC came 2nd, this game wouldn't have been on the ACCN. Which is exactly my point. Win the coastal this year, play less games on the ACCN next year.
