ACC ....

When and if we ever get back to playing Miami caliber of football won't matter what acc refs do.see Texas 91 cotton bowl.if it still happens when chance provides itself let a player accidentally take out a ref or two.maybe they'll wise up and get the hint.

You all need to stop, I can show you many pictures of holds, and others that I can even see on TV and it was right in front of the Refs. So we just need to take care of business. That is all.
I'm sure you are right & the refs missed some calls that worked in our favor but it is a fact that the Carolina schools (Tobacco Road) control the ACC. Virginia is one notch beneath them in terms of exercising influence. I hate that we have to point to the bias of the Refs in the ACC, but it is 100% a factor. There will always be horrible calls against us (especially on the road at UNC & Duke) because dem good ole boys control the ACC conference. It is a fact. We just have to be much much better as a team so even the refs can't deny us.

We didn't have these issues in the Big East.

If we’re going to leave the ACC, the only other thing we can do is go Independent like the good old days.

Too difficult nowadays unless you got some silly TV contract like ND and have consistently scheduled rivals. Scheduling and logistics would be a mess since we probably wouldn’t play consistent opponents besides FSU. That’s part of why we joined Big East in first place. If I’m not mistaken we signed some crazy home and home with San Diego State for 20 years or something and had to cancel when we joined Big East.

The fck makes you think some other conference is going to treat us different?

Exactly. Especially the SEC. Cheating for certain teams has always been ideologically/culturally based. The conservative traditionalist southern hick element absolutely despises Miami. PAC12 might be slightly better than ACC, but not much. Given our location, this is the best conference possible.

To add to my previous post...

When you find yourself constantly *****ing about the refs... Find another sport...

**** happens. THERE IS NO CONSPIRACY...

Take your aluminum foil hat off.
While it may not be an organized "conspiracy", there is no doubt that UM does NOT get the benefit of calls in their games. We went the past couple of seasons with one of the most aggressive pass rushes, yet the number of offensive holding calls against our opponents was not even half of what is seen in an average game. We would continually have players with their jerseys pulled right off their shoulder pads, right in front of refs, and no call made. Even commentators on the broadcasts have pointed out the lack of calls at times. Meanwhile, we've had numerous long plays, runs by Walton, Yearby, Harris, that were potential game-changer plays, called back for "holds" that again, even the announcers often questioned. ****, look at that bowl game two years ago against Wisconsin. Cager's pants practically being pulled down as he tries to run his route, and no PI call, plus the defender then intercepted the ball...and that was in the end zone! That same game, Wisconsin's go ahead TD was made possible by a BLATANT holding with a ref right next to it, where the DE's jersey was almost ripped off....no call.

If it happens on occasion, yes that's normal. But there is a pattern there that is undeniable.

@tjl1388 @xbobdog

To you twit fingers who sit behind the computer and want to try come at your own U Family. When all i'm doing is just bringing things to attention. You have 2 choices. 1.) Disagree in a professional manner and explain your reasoning behind it. 2.) Hit the dislike button and don't respond. I highly doubt you talk like this towards me in person and I put that on everything. Just like some of the MODS @Stefan Adams @Andrew had stated this year . (No Call for it !) It's OK to disagree with someone on a topic or post but I'm not the one for any name calling or insults. Put some respect on my name when address me. Alligator mouths / Honey bird Mark a** Bustas ! I don't play around with lil kids.

#YouGotmef****Up!

Now let me go back to my spirit and levels of good energy .

Kick these refs and Go Canes!

P.S. It seems like everyone on here doesn't disagree of my logic anyway.

Well, . . . . . no. There was a study done on biased officiating and it discovered that ACC refs protect the basketball schools, thus costing FSU and UM wins with **** officiating. Other conferences protect their "brand" programs to help propel them to bigger bowls and the playoffs so the conference gets more $$$. So stop talking out of your ***.
I remember that report. It only corroborated what many of us already knew. But that type of officiating has been with us since we were an independent. I sense it began after the Irish layed down during Faust's last game (with Ara and Musberger crying on the air).

It's not going to change by switching conferences. (Note: it was Big 12 refs which called the UF game and took away title #6.)

I said this right after the game. UNC has 10 penalties week one and somehow they managed to to only have one penalty against us. That doesn’t make sense. If they cut down the number to say 5 or 6 penalties I could believe it, but as the screenshots clearly show there were a number of calls that weren’t made that I feel would have gotten called if the roles were reversed.

Yeah, I see it. It was bad enough when we first joined the ACC, but it has become worse. And it's always a special level of bad when we go to Kenan Stadium.

The Big 12. Albeit there's a lot of good ol' boy referee's in that conference. Too bad the city of Miami isn't some where in the west ( Akin to Colorado University. ). Then Miami could be a part of the PAC-12. There's a lot of URBAN schools in that conference and football teams don't have to DEAL with those good ol' boy's and what not.

Pac-12 refs are supposed to be the worst.

We should leave the ACC because it’s a boring conference and its teams are boring.

Literally any other conference would be better

Those two calls is not why we lost, did the refs just magically make 4th and 17 disappear ?

Did they push the field goal wide?
