ACC v. SEC

Whats up DMoney. We met at the Cal game.

I would say that is the Good, the Bad, and come Wednesday night let's make the Big Ten look Ugly.

The ACC is Jekyll and Hyde. Some weeks look like G5 others world beaters. Top to bottom I think they have the best QBs of any conference. Talented guys that have varying skillsets that can cause matchup issues.

our middle of the conference is on par with any other conference. Ga Tech, Louisville, Pitt, etc.
The problem is Clemson and FSU are bad. if they were good at the same time as us along with Franklin coming in at Va Tech it would look better.
honestly, I hate this conference though, if we had the a&m refs we'd be undefeated. we legit lose games every year because of the rigged refs.

Which is going to be extremely difficult to do with these new media deals.

Rich boosters are going to have to seriously foot the bill to keep up with the Joneses (which I understand is a reference to Savannah - you're welcome).

yeah but Va Tech will be a very good team now. You can always find a good coach to go to Clemson and FSU. Problem is those schools are just in denial.

Thought this stat was interesting, especially considering how the ACC has looked against other conferences (1-7 vs. Big 12).

It's no longer about Conferences, with NIL it's about tiers.

There's one in the ACC, that's Miami, the SEC, has four, Alabama, Texas, UGA and LSU, the B1G has OSU, Michigan, Oregon, Indiana (now) with BiG 12 having Texas Tech.

This is based on skill, coaching, branding and NIL. Some could be on the up but that's generally how it is now.

The ACC is strong in the top end, GTECH UVA and Miami this year could compete in any conference, once you get out of those teams and out of the ACC Yeesh it's rough.

Some with B1G get outside of those four teams and they were lower then our strong team. SEC outside of those teams and those are debatable our top 3 teams could beat them.

Big 12, GTECH almost beat BYU and honestly should have in the pop tart bowl.

Conference records were important prior to the portal and NIL world now it's less important.
