Acc team of the week according to pff

Which is why I give Rosier more credit than most. He takes all those hits when guys miss blocks, and even when the pocket is clean, you can tell he's not expecting it to be.

I've given up trying to change minds about Rosier because it always turns into an argument against his accuracy, when nobody is trying to argue that he's accurate. But he somehow manages to average 3 TDs per game despite being inaccurate, having an inconsistent run game to lean on, and a bunch of JAG o-linemen like Jones, Darling, and McDoormat to throw behind.

Playing a team like LSU? I bet you can't find 5 plays where he had 3 seconds to throw the ball. You want to put someone else in because they're more accurate than Rosier? Fine. But they **** sure better be tough. I personally think asking a Freshman to go out there with no running game and asking him to win the game by throwing it 35-40 times a game is a recipe for disaster.

There was over five times he had a good pocket man. He actually made the ol look really bad a handful of times ( not saying the ol was great).

The ol isn’t as bad as some think , Rosiers problem next to inaccuracy is calling out or noticing a blitz. A lot of the ol issues is him not being able to do that. Pretty sure Roman mentioned this in a podcast.

There was so many obvious cat blitzes ( cb blitz) against LSU that he didn’t even pickup. Or call an audible , and lead to int , sacks or pressure. I mean it was hs level , blatantly showing their hand. With no respect , not disguising because they know he wouldn’t audible. Which immediately put the focus / blame on the ol to the common fan.

The thing is he is that bad , the ol is not great..... but he has pockets most times and still misses badly, or misses reads.

Would Rosier be better with a great ol?Yes.....but he’d still be inaccurate , because that’s what he is , he’s just not that smart of a qb. Which makes the inaccuracy even more of an issue.

A smarter qb , could help the ol out. Quicker reads / decisions and audibles would cover up an average / above average ol. But him lacking in that area makes them look more suspect than they actually are.

Ironically the excuse for rosier is the ol and the excuse for the ol is Rosier. The truth is in the middle.

I’m just at the point of not blaming malik anymore , it’s beyond that. It’s year three and this is still what we’re rolling out. This is a Richts issue and I blame them.

CIS going to have a meltdown over Rosier. That's an elite PFF grade. 16/23 on target (3 drops), 305 total yards, 5 TDs, 0 turnovers.

I'm fine with crticizing Rosier when he has bad games. But it's pathetic people try to make **** up when he plays well.

Malik had an excellent game. I have no interest in Miami losing so I hope he keeps it up. If he cant, he needs to be pulled early. But don't try to act like he didn't do well vs Toledo
If people go back and watch the game and how he processed the field in the 3rd quarter when Toledo’s offense was making a run then they will have a better appreciation for what he did in that particular game. He made 4 big time throws on 3rd down in that 3rd quarter sequence

Rozier is trash. Anyone still defending him at this point might as well just be cheering for Al Gorlden to still be here.

These are same porsters that would be building up sherriffs as a Heisman candidate if he was the starter. They remind me of the posters on Gheybait who can't accept that they don't have the most elite players at every position.

well in terms of wins, yards, and touchdowns he’s the best Miami QB in awhile 🤷🏾‍♂️ And he’s not being replaced this year period unless he plays a horrible game . So either you’re rooting for him to play well enough to win us some games or you’re rooting for him to be trash enough to lose us a game , an get replaced .

the better he plays the better it is for the team so why continue to root against him and talk sht. How many times do you have to reiterate that you think Rosier is trash ?

I don't know yet. But I'm gonna find out

Malik had a good QBR this game. Some of ya'll seem like you want us to lose and him to suck just to be right about something...

I don't think anyone wants Malik to do bad so they can be right. I think people want fans who don't watch the games to be objective and understand that number lie but film doesn't. So while the numbers look good the film is mediocre. Some fans are so afraid of Malik continuing to do good enough against the scrubs to keep his job when we all know he sucks too bad to even have a chance against Clemson. It's more like why avoid the inevitable?

Man if you're thinking that, you should stop thinking, because some have out right said that, and others have stated how he just needs to go ahead and get injured so someone else can play.

Now, I'm not saying that's what you're saying, but don't act like some aren't saying exactly that.

i stand corrected. if you saw that then ill stfu.

i cant stand Malik but happy when he does well.

I have little problem with Malik. He’s an inferior athlete out there competing against superior players surviving on grit. I understand that so I don’t expect him to go out there and wow me with physical talent. I expect him to fight to win games as long as he is the starter, and I expect the coaches to have someone else ready the moment he falters.

No doubt Rosier is a tough kid. He’s playing behind a terrible line. I try not to be too harsh on him because it’s the coaches faults he’s been a two year starter at Miami, not his.

Still, he deserves the criticism he gets because his accuracy sucks. There’s enough evidence to just say it and not have to qualify it anymore.
