They just lost their hesiman front runner QB.. and Navy runs the REAL triple option better than anyone. They would beat GT. (see: Mid Tenn St) Have you watched the ACc since we've came unto this conference? It's Big East bad.
Oh, so they get a pass? Did we get a pass for losing our senior QB?
Navy does not run a better triple option than Ga Tech. I can't even really have a conversation with you if you really believe that. Not only do they run a superior triple option, but they typically have an all-world receiver to keep the defense honest (see: Calvin Johnson and Demaryius Thomas).
Yes two good NFL wide receivers means that GT triple option (which PJ developed while at Navy) is superior. Good logic. Btw Calvin left long before PJ arrived and installed the triple option. (Chan Bailey was his coach) Also losing a heisman front runner versus a transfer backup from Memphis is a little different.
The wide receivers was an additional point, not THE point. Hence the 'but'. That's called a conjunction, it means the initial point was made and now you're going onto something else. Don't question my logic on this. Dwyer and Choice were both NFL running backs, and EVERY QB that GT has had can run the option better, faster, and throw better. It's really not even close, and I'm dumbfounded that I even have to argue this.
Ohio State is a top 5 team in the country too, because they're a complete team. They should not struggle against Navy because their QB goes down weeks before the game. Their defense and run game is what looked bad anyway. You're giving some real clown arguments all around.
