ACC Takeover?

I HATE Conference pride but I hate slurpery more. Why is UCLA #7?
Between this and Vandy ... Shts gone be upside down this year for the "top" 2 conferences

Have you seen the rest of the ACC so far? Wake lost to Louisiana Monroe, GT barely leading Wofford at the half, NCST losing 17-3 to Georgia Southern at half time, Syracuse needing OT to sneak by Vanderbilt. Let's not crown the ACC yet b/c UCLA's offense is terrible.
The title is sarcasm
But i do think things will change this year as far as SEC "supremacy"

I always thought conference pride would be a great way to keep the bowls going in a playoff era. The bowls could be a competition between conferences.

To me conference pride is Miami lost but at least Tallahassee won it all . ACC ACC

We are the worst BCS conference in college football top to bottom.

Such a dumb and unnecessary statement. We are head and shoulders above the Big 10 and Big 12.

I hope you're not actually serious with this.

The thoughts are completely mutual. You watching this OSU vs. Navy game? Imagine OSU playing a team with a REAL triple option. Or when they played Clemson last year. Big 10's not even a question, and neither is the Big 12.

They just lost their hesiman front runner QB.. and Navy runs the REAL triple option better than anyone. They would beat GT. (see: Mid Tenn St) Have you watched the ACc since we've came unto this conference? It's Big East bad.

Oh, so they get a pass? Did we get a pass for losing our senior QB?

Navy does not run a better triple option than Ga Tech. I can't even really have a conversation with you if you really believe that. Not only do they run a superior triple option, but they typically have an all-world receiver to keep the defense honest (see: Calvin Johnson and Demaryius Thomas).

Yes two good NFL wide receivers means that GT triple option (which PJ developed while at Navy) is superior. Good logic. Btw Calvin left long before PJ arrived and installed the triple option. (Chan Bailey was his coach) Also losing a heisman front runner versus a transfer backup from Memphis is a little different.

The wide receivers was an additional point, not THE point. Hence the 'but'. That's called a conjunction, it means the initial point was made and now you're going onto something else. Don't question my logic on this. Dwyer and Choice were both NFL running backs, and EVERY QB that GT has had can run the option better, faster, and throw better. It's really not even close, and I'm dumbfounded that I even have to argue this.

Ohio State is a top 5 team in the country too, because they're a complete team. They should not struggle against Navy because their QB goes down weeks before the game. Their defense and run game is what looked bad anyway. You're giving some real clown arguments all around.

Now we're giving them the nod bc of Jonathan Dwyer. I've heard everything now. Lol. Next you'll be name dropping Joe Hamilton. OSU struggled for a half against a 9-4 team (on the road) with a backup QB before doubling them up by the end. Oh the horror.

Yeah Dwyer ran for almost 2800 yards and 26 TD his last 2 seasons with Ga Tech. That's so LOL horrible, that was my mistake. He was really, really bad. And it's clear you didn't watch the game, OSU struggled with them into the 4th quarter.

the top dog in the big 10 ohio st is now 0-3 against acc in the last 3 games miami, clemson and now vt. people forget the acc consistently has a ton of nfl draft picks only second the sec. many of the sec guys end up being hyped busts like rolondo mcclain compared to luke keuchley who might be the best LB right now
