Sports writer for the News Observer Joe Giglio predicts that Miami will finish 6-2 in the ACC (losses to FSU/NC State) and win the Coastal Divison

*Do you agree we lose to NC State?? And with him not including Notre Dame, im thinking its 9-3 or 10-2...aint no way in **** we lose to NC State...Thoughts??

Not sure why he thinks we run the tables after a loss to FSU only to lose to NCST. If he thinks we can beat ND on the road but not NCST on the road, that doesn't add up to me. I don't think we drop any games we should win (ie. Cincy last season). Because of their huge ? at QB I don't see NCST beating us. I think if we drop 2 this year it is ND and FSU or UNC. My prediction for the season is 1 loss to ND IF we stay healthy.
 
This is at least the 4th publication that has us losing to NC State! What gives? Someone help me understand.

Where did he say anything about ND?
 
Dumb. About the only thing I agree with is that the Coastal is terrible and ripe for the taking year in and year out.

ND is NOT in the ACC. I don't know where he gets NC state, that's just throwing darts at the board.

Yea he didn't. I went season prediction not just ACC record. My bad.
 
Doubt we lose to NC. State. A loss to Va. Tech in Blacksburgh after a short rest week is way more plausible.
 
I think Syracuse will surprise some people, I dont believe for one second they go 0-8 in the ACC... they will beat at least Wake Forest, Boston College and possibly NC State... Dino Babers Offense is ridiculous...
 
I think, since FSU has gotten their fair share of tough comp from NCstate over the years, they feel as if that will carry over to Miami.

Basically saying Carolina plays Florida tough in football.

Thats the only logic I can pull from such random predictions.

I just don't see us losing to FSU this year. We have QB and a defense jimbo has NOT seen. Mark is 1000x Golden and Golden almost be Jimbo. Maybe other teams trip us up, but kids have outplayed noles for three years only to be out-coached -- jimbo will not out coach Mark enough .
