It's true that they do lend themselves to abuse and bloated bureaucracies to administer them.

That's the one thing about the ACA that was actually useful. It added teeth to violations of fraud, waste, and abuse.

i am no expert but less people are dying as we go along because of different treatment techniques and medications. the outbreak in the northeast was early before they knew anything about how to treat this thing. i don;t think it has anything to do with the states.

Remember when millions were going to die? Are you missing the entire current discussion about canceling football? Hyperbole gets spewed more quickly than crystal balls around here.

@IndayArtHauz has been about as balanced as I can imagine and all of the maudes have the patience of saints lately. If someone posts factual data, someone else claims the case counts are wrong because of a political conspiracy. Remember that one?

There isn't a political side with high ground here.

we probably are close to a quasi herd immunity situation in miami-dade. people just are just living their lives around here as far as i can see. don't be surprised if cases go down to close to NY, NJ levels soon. the only question is how long before they go back up? how long does immunity last? coronavirus is like a cold (obviously much more harmful) so its not going to last forever.
