the reason why NYC went from a “global hot zone” to all of a sudden “back to normal” is bc it was fake news from the jump. I saw too many real videos of ppl living in NYC who said there hospitalS weren’t overcrowded and all the bs about using parks for graves was more fake propaganda. It’s a reason why that Navy medical ship went unused the entire time it was in NYC.

NYC has a population of over 8 million ppl, Atlanta has a population of about 500,000... so how in one month NYC was under a state of emergency then a couple weeks later they have it all under control enough for Governor Cuomo to send medical Supplies to Atlanta lol... y’all really believe that fake *** ****??

These liberal cities have been jumping from everyone is dying to we have it all under control at a flip of switch whenever they need to push a certain narrative to the media.

That's telling right there. The same think happened in NY. Most cases happened close to NYC. Upstate and in western NY it was significantly lower.

It's the high density populations where it can spread (or re-spread) easily. Social distancing takes more effort.

False equivalency is destroying America. The volume of absolute garbage dumped on this site by Trump cultists is overwhelming. They have no shame and just move on to the next lie when the last lie is revealed.

Remember 165,00+ deaths ago when COVID19 was just the seasonal flu and was going to disappear? Or one month ago when deaths weren’t going to increase because testing was just finding more cases?

Jaded old man rant: I've been a registered Independent / NPA almost all my life and I was 18 the year we got to vote at that age (Protest voted with a write in vote for Barry Goldwater because in the previous election he said he'd get us out of Vietnam and my draft number was 24. Nixon lied in the 68 election about getting us out in 4 years, that ran out with that election). So I am old enough to get a kick out of people who use selective science for their arguments while ignoring the rest. In this pandemic, science has again been all over the place.

Believing all science as the ultimate authority, is a bad way to go through life. I've lived through such amazing science creations for governments or industry such as Lead paint/DDT (how about that Zyklon B?)/Napalm/Love bugs/ salt pills/The coming Ice Age/Global Warming, etc., then watching other or newer science discrediting it. Its a process, but blind faith in it, is dangerous.

History shows us humans are mistake prone, greedy beings. Its shows much of science is conducted on behalf of who pays for the studies and what outcome is sought. And it shows us that what's actually best for the masses, often is secondary to what's best for industry earning potential, or best protects cash flow.

Check out the scientist below, the old Chieftain ain't buying his pitch, and he turned out to be right.
