I'm not even a crazy Trump guy, but people let their dislike of him instantly discredit anything he could possibly say. But if Obama said the same thing he would have been praised for finding a cure or something to help. Again I'm more Libertarian but people's lack of ability to take all their crazy emotion out of finding things out on their own clouds their ability to see things straight.

Obviously covid is bad and appears to be worse than the flu, but it hasn't turned out to be this gigantic planet killing disease everyone thought it would be even despite what some would say has been a flawed response to it all. In general terms people have to get passed the idea that just because someone had/has covid they are going to die. The majority of people don't die from it if they are under 65 and healthy. Not to say there aren't one off cases. Also not to spark a conspiracy but it does seem odd that deaths from just about every other disease possible are down. Guy duys off a car crash, oh but he had covid, must have been a covid death. Or guy dies of cancer, had covid, oh that was the reason he died. Again covid sucks, but people are too quick to only hear one side of the story, make that concrete in the head and then scream at anyone else that says different. Both sides do it.

I just feel for all of the cities where crime is up, kids can't go back to school, children depression/suicide has spiked. So much to talk about and cover. Again I'm not even a Trump guy, i think the way he delivers a lot of his messages could be done so much better. But idk how someone could argue that Joe Biden seems reasonably healthy enough to be president, guy cant talk in front of a camera without a script, and talks about his bleached leg hairs. I'll say this and then I'll leave the politics alone. With regards to your first sentence, that's not a one sided phenomenon. The reality is BOTH sides do that ****. There are things that President Trump has done and said that all holy **** would have broken loose with Republicans if it were President Obama. There are numerous hypocrites on both sides from politicians on down to average citizens.

You're right they're Socialistic programs instead. Great job in making the distinction between Socialism & Socialistic. We definitely need more people like you in this country. You're smart enough to understand that Socialistic programs require work to earn benefits. Taxes are intended to pay for socialistic programs that benefit all: defense, roads, police, fire, street sweeping, etc. Taxes are mandatory and a necessary evil because citizens that lack a social conscience wouldn't pay their fair share even though they benefited from govt. services. The issue is the perception right now in this country based on propaganda is that govt. by & large is oppressive, inefficient, corrupt, and provides no value to the people. Contrast this with a country like Sweden, where their tax burden is higher than the United States but their citizens receive many more government benefits & services. (Sweden doesn’t have true Socialism either; the people are forced to work hard in order to make the country prosperous.) One can legitimately make the argument that the quality of life in Sweden is far better than it is in the United States when looking at metrics relating to homelessness, hunger, poverty, personal safety, mental health, elderly care, and health care.

Attempting to discredit Socialistic policy proposals that have the potential to benefit the entire nation by falsely labeling them as the pejorative Socialism does a huge disservice to intelligent public discourse and ultimately hinders attainment of a better society for the majority of Americans. As I have tried to tell you numerous times before, the quality of life in the United States was far better when taxes on the wealthy were higher and before corporate welfare corrupted the free market. Particularly during the period from 1933-1978. Employing phony labels to build straw man arguments, is only accelerating the country towards the proverbial cliff.

Just like you went out of your way in this instance to police the incorrect usage of Socialism, can we also count on you in the future to police the right wing partisan hacks & ideologues who spread propaganda & misrepresent Socialistic policy proposals as Socialism? Or..will you sit back, do nothing, & hide behind the charade of non-partisanship & objectivity?

That depends. If the right wing partisan hacks and ideologues are trying to sell an oppressive form of government by misrepresenting something we currently have, I'll be glad to call them out. But they aren't the loudest ones about stifling free speech and more government control right now.

You're harping on more govt. control without understanding that Sweden affords it's citizens a higher quality of life than America does. It accomplishes this with a broader regulatory framework, and higher tax burden. If you don't like Sweden, take a closer look at this country instead. From 33-78 inequality steadily decreased, and the middle class experienced it's greatest period of economic growth & expansion. Inequality rose rapidly only after the dismantling of trade unions, tax reductions, rising rents, privatization and deregulation. So at this stage does excessive govt. control/regulation really sound like the main problem right now?

I deal with witnesses and credibility every day, and I can assure you that if my case rested on the testimony/believability of a guy like this who has been caught lying 5M times publicly and is constantly spewing baseless conspiracy theories, I’d drop the case or try to get it settled before that guy had to testify and be exposed as a kook/liar.

Look, I am on record that we shouldn’t have locked down for so long because of what covid would do to the economy, and because I didn’t think we could fully contain it. BUT I knew we needed everyone in America on board and to follow the rules so we could flatten the curve, which would allow us to play college football, other college sports, high school football and to reopen America quicker.

Every state needed to get on board, be selfless and start wearing masks and social distance so we could get things going (sports, opening things up, etc). Social distancing and masks were a critical, neccessary evil, but what did the southern states do? Fought tooth and nails against it!

They refuse to wear masks and refused to social distance! They call it tyranny, they say it’s unconstitutional...or “we live in America and we shouldn’t have to do this”. This kind of thinking killed college sports and slowed the entire **** country down (economy and reopening). The other states have been dragging the dead weight of the south towards progress, against its will, for generations, so can you all at least do is this slid?? The southern states are an albotross around our **** necks!

Other Americans are asking you guys to look at the big picture and to stop being selfish. Sacrifice and wear the masks and social distance so we can ALL move forward.

I've always voted Democrat due to the fact that i'm pro science, pro *** rights, pro choice and a big advocate for the environment. That being said, i voted for a very well educated, elloquent president in Obama, and that ****** is was absolute garbage from a policy standpoint next to Trump. Get out of your feelings and realized that voting for Biden gets you a president that will go after our second ammendment, one that will push for transgender integration in every aspect of life(sports, schools, bathrooms..), will realocate money from the police and MASSIVELY increase taxes. yes, the economy hit a springboard with him. And although i disagree with his appointments at the EPA and FDA, he's removed a ton of bureaucracy that has impeded our fiscal growth. And on China, he's actually brought attention to a dangerous enemy that we've been ignoring for decades. We as a nation are incapable of standing on our own due to our lack of focus on developing local infrastructure. His tariffs, although hurt us in the short run, force us to invest in local production and has already started to get us headed in the right direction. The local economy will massively benefit in the long run for this move. More jobs, more successful production businesses and American independence! And the social divide in this country is an issue he inherited from Obama. That **** drove a wedge into this country with his response to the Michael Brown incident. He had the voice, and platform to bring this country together, but he did the opposite. He sided with the criminal and against the police, instead of speaking to the larger issues within the black culture that cause these incidents. But, when Trump speaks to those issues, hes labeled a racist. Yet, Biden is an actual racist and its ignored.
