ACC has a problem

If the ACC cared about us in football, we wouldn't get screwed every time we play a Carolina team. For this reason, I couldn't care less if the ACC implodes.

you dont think the lashlee hire was a good one (at least on paper right now)? the O he runs is exactly what weve been calling for for years thatll fit the talent and bc of the hire, we ended up with a legit QB. thats the best hire the school has made since butch if were being honest.
I'm just not grasping where you're going with this. I never guaranteed that the staff changes would be a success, I just pointed out that we absolutely did make some staff changes in response to you saying every one else is and we aren't. Yeah, we also made a ton of staff changes last year. And at the time, the hires (especially Enos) were widely praised by even non-Miami fans. However, the end results were an absolute disaster. This year's changes may prove to be a disaster as well. Or, they may prove to be successful. We won't know until, well, the games are played. But considering we canned Enos, hired Lashlee, canned Stubbs, are bringing in a new WR coach, and brought in Ed Reed as Chief of Staff, it's just weird that you'd be ranting about how everyone else is making staff changes and we aren't.

Agree. I've always felt ACC is a bad fit for us. Culturally, geographically and as you said we get no favors from Tobacco Road officiating. ACC will always be a basketball conference.

How about you get off this board so you can go **** yourself. You low life piece of ****

Hilarious.

You are INSANELY triggered by me calling you a "troll" because you referred to Miami fans as "you guys".

And for that reason, you call me a "low life piece of ****".

You are seriously disturbed.

Miami and FSU getting back together has always been what this conference has needed.

A strong Miami makes VT relevant too.

Three championship contenders in a conference will bring the entire conference with it.

There is no conference that is a good fit for us.

We are a small private school in a large diverse city. Until someone forms a conference with us, Southern Cal, Georgetown, UMass, Temple, Rice, Tulane, Villanova, Wake, Vanderbilt, etc., then we are going to be an odd fit.

Miami is the worse basketball team in the ACC. Lol. You guys are a joke for basketball. You are never relevant. Duke, North Carolina, Louiville, Syracuse and Virginia are the only ACC teams that make runs in the tournament.

Before the bulls*** FBI investigation Coach L had finished higher than the preseason projection every single year.

Nobody is saying we aren’t one of the worst THIS YEAR. Widen your sample size and you will see Miami has finished top 5 in the league 4 times, including a reg season and tournament title. Not too mention, we were a terrible loss to VT away from another reg season title split with Carolina. We have surpassed everyone’s expectations as it pertains to basketball. That’s not up for debate.

It was not too long ago we were saying Alabama was the only legit team in the SEC. Now they are trailing within their div. What we should really be focused on is the fact that every other school is making staff changes while we just make figurehead hires and listen to our inept AD.
Alabama has never been the only school in the SEC even with how dominate they have been. Sorry OP I never heard anyone say that. Since2003 bama5,LSU3,gaturds2,Auburn1 and LSU and bama played for one of em so I don't know who was saying its only bama but don't believe everything you hear.

I am a canes fan for football, not for basketball. I am a syracuse fan for basketball. So don’t call me a troll you loser.

Lmao imagine being a Syracuse fan and saying Miami is never relevant. Since Syracuse joined the ACC they are 4 games better than Miami in conference play. That’s in 5 years. And they joined the year after we won going 15-3, having the best season in school history.

Now I take **** for being a Duke b-ball fan on the side but nobody comes before Miami in any college sport. You sir can EAD

I am a canes football fan ******. Not basketball
But that's kind of wierd if you really look at it. I don't like Miami as my favorite college b-ball team but the love I have for Da-U make me not talk **** bout the B-ball team and if they do ok you tip ur hat. Like I get why he looked at you funny and I understand where you coming from also with liking a different b-ball and f-ball team in college but if you was at a Cuse b-ball talking bout we gone beat yall sad *** in football while cheering for the b-ball it's going be a natural reaction to look at you funny like you troll, point blank.

The ACC is at a bad place right now. The ACC is the worst power 5 confrence for football and basketball. As we know, Clemson is the only team good team for football. They are so far ahead of every team in the confrence. In basketball, the ACC is really struggling this season. Only four teams from the ACC are projected to make the tournament: FSU, Louisville, Duke and Virginia (three of those teams are ranked). The ACC should be getting into Miami's and FSU's grills and encouraging them to pick up the slack. Same with Cues, Pitt, Notre Dame and UNC for basketball. Those four schools are traditionally powerhouses for basketball.

You're in high school buddy. You don't know anything.

Syracuse, Arizona and Louisville got hit with allegations and that doesn’t stop them from making the tournament. Syracuse makes a tournament run almost every year. The canes haven’t done anything significant in the tournament

Unlike Miami, Syracuse makes it to elite 8’s, final fours and national championships. We make runs in the tournament every single season. Has Miami every made it to an elite 8?

Is there anything I said that is wrong?

Yes, you are using the results of one year to conclude that the ACC has a problem instead of considering that maybe the results of a single year could just be an aberration. For example, the ACC has been by far the best basketball conference for the last decade. One down season is pretty meaningless.

These are the kinds of mistakes made by high school kids who generally lack common sense and experience.

The ACC football has been a problem for a while. Clemson and FSU are the only teams that have been relevant. Also for basketball, the big east has been the best confrence the past two years. Especially the old big east.
