I get this. I try to be realistic. But for the first time in years, we're going to have talent, depth, and experience at most key positions.

Throw in the fact we're going into year 3 of the Diaz era. We should expect another jump from our 8-3 record last year.

This is honestly a schedule where we should lose, NO MORE, than 2 games....and if this team has any heart & pride, they would try to beat the brakes off of UNC completely!

This schedule should take us to the ACCCG. I would be sorely disappointed for anything less.
-Mich St sucks.
-FSU sucks.
-App St is an inferior opponent.
-UNC could be a loss, but should be a vengeance game.
-NC St could be tricky, but their defense is suspect af w/ a mediocre HC.
-Pitt is always tough, and that’s about it; not enough fire power.
-UVA is another tough team, but again, not enough fire power.
-Will VT even have enough players?? FOH w/ the Fuentes bull chit.
-GT is still GT.
-Duke gone Dook.
-CCCCCSWU should be a freshman show case
-Bama is a 95% loss probability

No more than 2 losses on this schedule, and that’s not having on the O&G shades; that’s the confidence of having King back in the 2nd year of a Lashlee offense, Diaz calling the defense again, TRob coaching up the DBs, and this team being a mature, seasoned bunch w/ a lot of Srs.

If we don’t win 10 games, then we’ll know exactly why (assuming King is fully healthy to go).

but the biggest concern, in my view, is how do we react to a blowout loss to start the season?

spending all summer working to opening day, knowing you're going to get creamed, then you lose 48-3.

when that happens, can the team recover??

If we lose 48-3 with a healthy King, we will be in big trouble this year. Mediocre offenses score TD’s against Bama every year, and we have all offseason to gameplan.
