ACC continues to ***** Miami

Sorry OP, you’re brain adled.

You’ve fallen in love with an incredibly stupid idea, putting you in the DBC dimension, or you’re trolling.

How’s this for an AAC home schedule:

South Carolina State
FAU
Tulsa
Temple
FIU
East Carolina
Tulane

We’re going to get really fired up for that.

if that isn’t enough, your idea is as bad a pipe dream as an on-campus stadium. And actually, an on-campus stadium is more likely, and guess what, it’s never going to happen.

I happen to be one of those people that put a few bucks into the program and contribute, which gives me a little bit of say, and I know people that have a lot more say, and nobody that I know of would ever be in favor of that. Ever.

The people that count would never want this. It’s a sign of submission. It’s a sign of surrender. And even if we never win another championship again, I’d at least rather be in a position where we could possibly do it. Rather than one where we could never do it, where there was no chance.

This is literally one of the most idiotic and incredibly futile riffs ever on this site. This is DBC brain lesion worthy.

Good luck tilting at the windmills. I’m out of this conversation. It’s like arguing with a retarded lower order arthropod. There’s no point in going on. The sensible ideas cannot get through your hard exoskeleton

Hows this:

#21 Cincinnatti
#19 SMU
Houston
UCF
Temple
FIU
Navy

Want to tell me how many mighty ACC teams are ranked in the top 25?

Miami doesn't need an on-campus stadium. The Orange Bowl wasn't on campus and it was fine. Hard Rock is a fantastic stadium.

ESPN is hemorrhaging subscribers. No one is paying money to watch the ACC network. The future is in streaming tv. If you don't have the business sense to see this, then I question your claim of being a donor. It's not surrender, it's making a smart business move.

Buying a hat that says "SWAG" on it does not mean you are putting bucks into the program. I have a bunch of Canes refrigerator magnets. Guess I should consider myself a big time donor as well.

The NCAA isn't keeping a 12-0 Miami team out of the playoffs, whether we are a G5 or not, especially if we have a very strong OOC schedule. A great OOC slate was one of the hallmarks of Miami's Big East schedule.

G5 school just took a P5 coach. Pretty good one at that.

You arent getting pu$$y you are just going to end up playing with yourself. Almost 20 years in the ACC and Miami hasn't won ****. Keep saving yourself for your imaginary supermodel girlfriend that lives in Canada. We all know you will end every night pulling your pud.

AAC might not look like much now, but the conference has the potential to sign streaming contracts and chart a course for the future. ACC is bloated with deals tied to dying cable TV. Stay married to the ACC and in 15 years you will be married to a morbidly obese sea cow. AAC will be looking good in a few years when 120 million households with Amazon Prime will be able to watch AAC games every Saturday and teams are making 30-40 million a year each.

Thought it was dumb initially but you make a fair case. The ACC model sucks, and if it doesn't adapt there's no reason those teams will remain at the top of the pecking order, especially if ACC does with Miami as big name weight. Of course, that would require savvy charting by the powers that be. So not even a remote possibility absent massive change. The current regieme is at least as conservative and risk adverse as the ACC itself.

☝️

At least have 2 different targeting calls. Jack Tatum type gets you ejected. Carter's would not. Personally I liked the play by Carter, but if that **** is a penalty, no way he deserves to get thrown out

Exactly my dude. Carter played that textbook, imo. Any old school former collegiate or professional Safety is proud of that play. Clearly Carter was going on a his shoulder, but the WR braced and tried to avoid the on coming hit, causing Carter to make contact w his helmet v. his shoulder/chest area.

The rule needs to be amended. I’m all for a 15 yrd penalty in today’s, soft version of football, but unless it’s egregious, no player should be kicked out trying to defend a pass and cause an incompletion.

Now you're really imploding.

For someone who supposedly thinks long term and big picture you demonstrate none of that. Schnellenberger knew the power of the Orange Bowl from his Dolphins years. But he understood a major college program benefits most of all from an on-campus football stadium. It is the landmark of campus and essentially defines the campus. The supposed game day at Miami is an all-time comedy compared to activities all around the country. They won't have dormant campuses tomorrow. They won't have students taking buses 45 minutes away to the edge of the county.

We supposedly have an edge via recruiting territory. We give it away via lack of our own stadium. Just imagine the situational realities. One kid after another. One year after another. They visit other major football powers. The head coach can walk them from the facilities to the stadium. Everything is smack in front of them, how their campus life would unfold including those golden fall Saturdays. Our coach is always stuck with half a loaf. Then we wonder why we don't dominate recruiting and always lose kids late, once the comparisons are front and center. It is forever hilarious.

why did the ACC bring us into their conference if they were just gonna ***** us non-stop?

I mean it's like they're giving us this big huge fat ACC check to be really bad and bring nothing to the conference because they won't let us play ( holding calls, zebras in general )

someone explain this?

They aren't its a bunch of conspiracy nuts that think this is the case. The ACC wants us to be good at football because it boosts up the whole conference. Otherwise they would also "destroy" Clemson and FSU.

Not everyone wanted to let us in to the ACC.

No one can. The entire idea is pure nonsense.

Miami was to be a flagship program along with FSU. All the hype and media coverage around this move was Miami & FSU. They even gave Miami vs FSU special TV coverage. These two teams were going to carry the conference. No one gave a crap about Clemson at this point.

They didn’t do all of that just so they could ***** Miami. If anything Miami has not held up their part of the bargain.

OP, You are extremely naive if you think Miami’s brand will hold up moving to lower conference. Miami will be turned into a punchline.

Programs all over the country are trying to get into power five conferences and you want to leave…?

Anyone who thinks there isn't an obvious bias against Miami by ACC referees needs to have a CAT scan done, like yesterday.

It's a game in, game out, ignore what's right in their face, obvious no calls against other team to phantom, game changing calls against us.

The bobbled UNC TD that stood three years ago, the late hold from the other side of the field on Mark Walton's spectacular TD run against FSU, the non face mask against UVA last week, our DL begging for holds after getting tackled as an official stares right at them. The list is endless. I watch them from my seats as the look up at the replay after every non call and see their blank faces look away afterwards.

It's every single game, it's blatant and it's never going to change as long as the Carolina Corridor county club member ACC refs have to go home to face their golf buddies and church members who all graduated from some ACC school 40 years ago.

Never forget what happened in the miracle lateral game before it got to that point. The refereeing was so bad, so blatantly biased, I think they were actually embarrassed at that point ot overturn:

We raced out to the lead and those refs called every possible hold or PI they possibly could get away with that night, Duke's final scoring drive was an absolute joke, with not one, not two but three PI calls to get them down the field.

This needs to be said...

Miami committed pass interference against Ohio State in the national title game. The call was late, but it was accurate.

hey guys, Miami and FSU commit a lot of penalties, it’s not bias. Our opponents are mostly unaggressive players from schools known for academics. Duke, UNC, BC, GT, and Virginia are always more intelligent than us.

can you read?

Yeah, lets leave the ACC at the end of this season.
All we need is for someone to pony up the 50 million exit fee. So please step up
Really someone step up.
Hello ? Anyone at all
Anyone ?
Is this mike working ?

Cincinnati vs East Carolina on Amazon Prime is the OP's version of hardcore ****.

C'mon. Stop it already with the AAC, bro.

Miami needs to leave the ACC for the AAC and sign exclusive rights deals with streaming services like Amazon Prime or Netflix.
After the longhorn network, no one is going to sink money for a single university. The only exception is Notes Dame and NBC. But guess what, Miami doesn't have the following that Notre Dame has.

Permanently ban yourself.

if an offensive player lowers his/her head, they there should be no targeting on the defense...
