Saturday November 4, 2017 the coastal will be decided. here are the chances for each team to clinch
who's out:
- UNC: 1-7 (0-6 ACC)
- Duke: 4-5 (1-5 ACC)
Whos Alive
-Pitt:4-5 (2-3 ACC) with 3 loses in ACC play pitt chances are slim to none but technically not out. remaining games include UNC, @ Vtech, and Miami. would need to win out and have some serious help.
-Virginia: 5-3 (2-2 ACC) Virginia sitting with 2 confernce loses. remaining games vs tech, @ Louisville , @ Miami, v tech. Virgina would have to win out but with 4 tough acc games left their chances are really slim. could see them going 0-4 IMO
-G Tech: 4-2 ( 2-2 ACC) G tech has 2 ACC Loses. remaining games include @ Virginia, V tech, @ Duke. G tech chances to win the coastal would require to win out and have Miami lose 3 ACC games.
-V tech: 7-1 ( 3-1 ACC) V tech sits with one lost to clemson. remaining games include @ Miami, @ G tech, Pitt, @ Virginia. V tech would need to win out to clinch the coastal. 3 of 4 remaining games are away Lane stadium.
-Miami: 7-0 ( 5-0 ACC) canes are unbeaten in acc play. remaining games are Vtech, Virginia, @Pitt. only one road game left for the canes have the best chance of winning the coastal .
* Only included ACC games remaining.
No doubt in my mind Saturday will determine the coastal winner. with all other teams sitting with 2 plus ACC loses their chances are really slim but you know its college football and anything can happen. if v tech wins Saturday they will have the head to head against Miami. Miami would need to win vs virgina and pitt and hope that v tech slips once more in the ACC. don't wanna leave it in the hands of another team. why put your hope on others when you can do the job yourself.
If the Canes win Saturday they are in prime position to finally head to the ACCCG. that would put every coastal team with 2 loses or more. Miami would have a huge non conference game the weekend after vs ND. after that two ACC games. worst case scenario if Miami loses last two Acc games Miami would have the head to with everyone besides Virginia ( if they lose to but UVA acc remaining games are tough and don't expect them to still have two loses when we play them ) and pitt ( who has 3 loses so it wouldnt matter and assuming they win out in acc play). I don't expect Miami to lose to virginia or pitt.
Lot of stuff teams needs to clean up. this is the biggest game of the year IMO. get your tickets and pack hard rock stadium. i expect primetime slot with nc state lost and bring out the black UNIS.
