Begs the question....how were they "fixing" this earlier.

UM, disgusted with offensive line penalties, is making OL do 250 up downs - a lot harder than pushups - for every penalty he commits in game

... For every OL penalty in practice, punishment is 50 up downs for violator. UM coaches are sick of these penalties

We back? I haven't heard a player speak like this in 10 years. AG letting the cuffs off?!

Great; now instead of giving up 100 yards in penalties from false starts and holding calls, we're going to give up 6 sacks/game b/c these mofos are going to be too tired heading in to Saturday.

Should have been the **** logic from day 1. When you do stuff like this in year 5, its to late!

And the defense should be doing 500 up and downs including the DC!

IDIOTIC. This is what you do in spring/fall practices and workouts. NOT SIX GAMES IN!!!

When your tire goes flat during a trip, you change it. You fix the issue/problem. If the tire was bad before you jumped on the road, it is your fault for not checking it before you pulled off (<--I'm agreeing with you here). But, you can't slam the coaches now for recognizing something and putting an end to it. That's the right response, even if it is a day late...

This right here. I'm not going to knock the staff for addressing it the way they are. However, what have you been doing this whole time if this is now being done?

But we're close to 1,300 days late.

Exactly. Is a response "the right response" if it's too late?

Grohlden doesnt bench people, dont know if its because lack of depth or not, Herndon kept playing after that dumbasss pass intereference (actually had 3 passes thrown at him next series), and Moten stayed in the game after the dumbasss roughing the passer, thats the ultimate teacher, the bench

This hard nose bull**** is exactly what you don't do halfway through the season. It's ******* bull****. Habits are formed throughout the spring and fall, this punishment is arbitrary and being done more for how it portrays Golden as a coach than it is to "correct" behavior.

The Dolphins are performing a culture change during the season. I'm more intrigued as to what Golden was doing to correct the situation before today. The whole "it's on me" and "we're working our tails off to get it fixed". What exactly were you doing to address this? And why is this now being addressed five years later?

It's all reactionary. Typical of someone like Golden.
