IDIOTIC. This is what you do in spring/fall practices and workouts. NOT SIX GAMES IN!!!
When your tire goes flat during a trip, you change it. You fix the issue/problem. If the tire was bad before you jumped on the road, it is your fault for not checking it before you pulled off (<--I'm agreeing with you here). But, you can't slam the coaches now for recognizing something and putting an end to it. That's the right response, even if it is a day late...
This hard nose bull**** is exactly what you don't do halfway through the season. It's ****ing bull****. Habits are formed throughout the spring and fall, this punishment is arbitrary and being done more for how it portrays Golden as a coach than it is to "correct" behavior.
The Dolphins are performing a culture change during the season. I'm more intrigued as to what Golden was doing to correct the situation before today. The whole "it's on me" and "we're working our tails off to get it fixed". What exactly were you doing to address this? And why is this now being addressed five years later?
It's all reactionary. Typical of someone like Golden.
I agree. He should've addressed this long ago. He's allowed this bad habit to form. It's not going to be fixed overnight.
