The quality of the games are not that bad. Kinda exciting because turnovers happen more often but the passing games aren’t so great

Does teams only have one set of jerseys? Watching this Atl vs SD games is tough. Purple/gold, and gray/yellow clashes.

Some reasons why this league will succeed.

1. Players that play out their first contract are often not offered a second. This isn't due to performance, but value. Teams would rather take a rookie at 150k/year less than the vet. The vet may be able to outperform the rookie, but they can't outperform value. This means a superior player does not make an NFL roster. This is the backbone of the league. Gilbert being an example.

2. Some players are better than their NFL counterparts but just cannot get onto a team. An example is Nick Rose, a fantastic kicker, but can't get signed to a team because they either have a better kicker or a ****** scouting department.

3. Location, NFL teams tend to scout local teams, but sometimes their current players are superior to them, and other teams don't scout them so they don't get contracts. This leaves them rosterless despite NFL talent.

4. Injuries, the NFL skips out on guys due to injuries all the time. Why take broken when you can take healthy? Since the season follows the NFL season, guys with injury question marks get an opportunity to play.

Not so fast my friend ... The AAF had trouble making "Payroll" this past week. They had to get a donation.

I like it. If it catches on , more quality players, maybe some on practice squads, will join the league.
