GA as a state is easier to recruit...they have NO instate threat and community that pushes towards uga the state school. They also have boosters that are in the bag game. That being said...Richt STILL couldnt recruit a qb worth a sh*t there and didnt completely lock down the state to the level he should have./I stated that since we hired him.
@Cribby He's been spot on what are u talking about.Lol @ “my guy”.
You’re still posting nonsense? Anyone that believes you have any worthwhile info are part of the amateur hour.
Recruitin here is a separate animal in itself. No where in the country is similar to the south florida kids
Just curious how did CMR get recruits to Georgia? I feel like he always had success on the field for the most part and top 10 classes. Is he just too out of touch with kids these days? Or the staff at UM is inadequate?
He was a bad recruiter for the most part. He had a state mainly dominated by UGA which has more top prospects per capita than anywhere else and of course can't beat Clemson and Auburn in their home state. With Kirby, that's been UGA state with a few hiccups.Just curious how did CMR get recruits to Georgia? I feel like he always had success on the field for the most part and top 10 classes. Yea, Atlanta Kids, Houston Kids, and LA Kids are all similar when it comes to playing the game. Only difference is they are usually loyal to the local schools when it is all said and done.
***** your big *** ain't working for free"Your guy" didnt have to tell you this. Ive been making fun of it for awhile after i heard a recruit say that one of our coaches randomly text him.."You still open?" like a hey big head text at 3am. They are OBVIOUSLY guys that cant recruit and coach at the same time so when the season comes around they go awol.
They need to really get with the time sand have a real recruiting department like the Bama, UGA, Oregons of the world that can help with that kinda thing...Guys like me would work for free.lol
2020 unfortunately... next year will be bad and then he will get fired... I'm excited to see him go.. just have to wait 12 yearsThe hole just keeps getting deeper and deeper. It's going to take the next coach a couple years to turn this crap around. There is just no **** way MR is the head coach of this team after the 2019 season.
Those areas though major cities. Arent anything like s.fla.
There is literally."bag game" in OPTOMIST/POP WARNER ball (s.fla has the best youth football in the country easily)...i know i ve coached at that level for some time now. These kids play at different parks EVERY YEAR...go to the highest bidder/winning teams since then...and do it again in high school..then recruiting rolls around and people expect them to commit to a bad product on the field?..
S.Fla kids are like professionals by like 11 yr old. LEGIT. My kids i coach would laugh at our o. ...im not even kidding.

“This staff is clueless in regards to recruiting, it’s amateur hour”
I was told this last week by my guy.
Which explains all the misses on the plan b’s, they have no clue how to play this. They stay in contact with guys , then just stop. But reappear again when things are beginning to look grim with other recruits.
There’s obvious excuses out there on losing big fish but this is the stuff that lets you know we have a problem. It’s not just on the field.
Those kids put up for their crib. Sfla kids are not that loyal to um anymore when you have clown staff and a boring offense. They are not stupidJust curious how did CMR get recruits to Georgia? Sedated? Seems that wayThis is Richt's fault, he's been in the game 30+ years teach your staff how to recruit, but he's sedated
