They couldnt dig further on his injury a month ago if they liked him so much preinjury?

Respectfully, I'm not up on the ankle but opinions regarding prognoses/outlook can change over the course of a month.

I also think Mario has demonstrated a firm-enough grasp on recruiting and development to not have such speculation about this sort of thing.

Deroche is a te all the way.

We are also lucky in that S.fla has another te prospect in Peter Pierre in next class that we should push for....and we typically dont produce much te prospects. Aden Johnson could possibly be a te as well.

Cartwright has long been viewed as a versatile, all-around TE target for the staff. Our top target was Jaxson Dollar who chose Georgia.

Wiltfong said that Jordan Karoff was a silent Miami commitment however VT offered him more money as well as Miami not being sold on shutting down tight end recruiting with Karoff & Deroche.

Cartwright had a scary injury that put his priority status in jeopardy for a bit, but all is well there now from Miami’s side. He is a South Florida Express 7on7 player despite being from Michigan; so he has longtime familiarity with the area & staff.
