A quarterback to watch...

The intriguing kid is Hasselbeck.. You would think with a father and uncle who played QB at the prolevel hs could do better than Wyomig. Must have got his football genes from his mother. If Clement's last name were Smith ,he would be considered a JAG.

Briggs Cherry is nice, QB'd for Corey Barber in 7v7 this offseason and a couple other AL WRs i like.

Also, yes. Okunlola LT for Babalola, let's rock (and rolla if you're looking for trouble with @JamesQuall 👀)

Messaged @423Hurricane about this a few weeks ago after I ran into Ryan Clement decked out in Canes gear in town…. had no idea why he was around and then saw a write up on it. Didn’t know who he was at first until he told me after I commented on his shirt and hat.

Fun fact… Science Hill is Steve Spurrier’s Alma mater and the field is named after him.

Supposedly he’s struggling with game speed compared to where he was at in Wyoming. Pretty crazy considering northeast TN is some of the weakest HS football in the country relative to the sizes of schools. You get 1-2 D1 kids in the entire area per year once you get north of Knoxville and head up to the NC and VA borders.

I still remember reading the sports paper when Ryan Clement committed….same class as Scott Covington. Both guys were 5 star/high 4 star type prospects.

Did he move here for his son’s football? There was an article in the Kingsport Times News when I was in high school about his grandparents living in mount Carmel and home being the Miami starting qb.

I was not expecting a kid with the name of Briggs Cherry to have a full sleeve.

You may not know this but @423Hurricane is actually my uncle. Below is an old picture I found of us when I was a little kid. Dude is a legend.

From what Ryan has written about it, his son has moved in with family in TN in order to finish up HS. He has also camped at a couple of places this summer.
