That wasn't the argument. Re-read the porst. We actually have someone insinuating that Randy left the team so inept and that "sanctions" (which actually hadn't gone into effect) left the roster in such a state that in Golden's third season, every team we played last season had more talent and depth than us on defense.

2010 Miami team that went 7-6 had 9 players make ALL teams
FSU team that spanked them and went to the ACC champ game had 5.

BTW, VT managed to drop 42 on us without a single offensive guy in all 3 lists. Duke almost got 50 with 1 First Team offensive player. Explain that

I dont agree, there are many players on there that teams did not have great success ... My point being for people to think duke and other teams didnt have a better defense than us is idiotic are talent level and depth has been so low why its simple shannon left the program empty than the ncaa bull... Now as that has left the talent has been getting better this first year class with no ncaa was great see no reason it wont continue
 
I almost responded to the OP thinking this was a new thread. Wonder what the OP's thoughts are right now.
