I’m fine with the cheaper common sense HOAs. Our place in TX is about that, $500 a year.

Our place in FL…..$355 a month. ******* scam. A gate and non heated pool. That’s it.

We’ve got a gate and a couple ponds. $475 year.
Wouldn’t suggest swimming in our ponds. 🐊
 
I moved into a young sub-division and they tried to have a HOA and us new home owners told them we didn’t want Antonio do with it and voted it out…best thing we ever did
