Dear Canes:

As sunset nears on one of our truly amazing football seasons, I want to reach out to thank you. Thank you for being there for your Miami Hurricanes.

Together, we have reminded the world of what it means to be a Hurricane.

Dear Canes:

As sunset nears here in South Carolina, I want to reach out to thank you. Thank you for being there for your Miami Hurricanes.

Together, we have reminded the world of what it means to be a Hurricane. That's why I wear a Miami golf shirt when I hit the links in South Carolina.

Together, we have showed up in throngs to cheer on the Canes at home, at stadiums around the country and – tonight — back home at Hard Rock. Because our games have been televised, I've been able to confirm this independently.

Together, we have weathered the storms and the adversity. The weather in South Carolina in particular has been trying. And together, we not only overcame the challenges, but we thrived.

Together, you have supported our student-athletes in so many ways—through your voices and cheers, through your ticket purchases, and through your philanthropic efforts. I went to one of the games this year, and that was actually three tickets: two plane, one game.

Together, we are a University of Miami community proud of who we are, proud of where we have been, and proud of where we are going. For me, that's a South Carolinian, South Carolina and South Carolina.

Thank you for everything. I ******* love South Carolina!

Whoa! I read that wrong first time!

The fourth sentence - as I scanned it quickly - I THOUGHT he said "Together, we have showed up in THONGS.

I thought UH-OH - I been doing it wrong!

Much relief upon a slower - re-read. I don't even have a speedo!
