A&M [almost] hires Stoops

And you had the balls to say Stoops is a home run hire 🤣

You parade a fake insider shtick around and get called out incessantly.

You probably go tell your firefighters to get all tough and physical with the flames before you enter a building.

(By the way, despite differing football opinions thank you for your service).
When did I say he was a homerun hire?

Agreed, but you also tend to run the ball more when you’re leading at the end of games, and many of them by double digits.
Actually, they ran the ball more when they were running it effectively. Watched quite a few of their games. They are a balanced attack and when they throw Bowers gets a ****load of attention.

Pretty much the same ratio as last year. This year they are 399 pass/423 run.
Can’t argue with these ppl.

They constantly move the goal post.

Literally last night when they were in a dog fight vs. Ga tech they came out of half time and ran right over them to a blow out.

Yeah, anyone ever wanting to meaningfully compare the significance of pass/run ratio needs to filter out what happens after a team gets a significant lead or near the end of games where they're milking clock. What matters is how a team plays in order to GET the lead, especially how they play against competition that's not horribly overmatched in talent.

UK may not have a long football history of success, but check their budget. They do have resources. Yes, the Aggies will have even more for facilities and NIL by comparison, but the Wildcats were not operating on a shoe string budget.

Here’s the real difference. UK had no expectations until Stoops introduced them to consistent success. Aggies will not be so patient.
Not saying they don't have any resources. Moore than aware they do. You're right he was the starting point to expectations there. But in comparison here, the resources for FOOTBALL are an ant too an anteater. A&m is all day, easily top 3 for deepest pockets in the country.

Yes they are but also the poster child for money doesn’t buy everything either if you’re a bunch of clowns

Who are the other 2 IYO? Texas and…..?

Fisch at UF is one of my bigger fears. That’s his dream job. I don’t like the fit at A&M. Elko seems perfect

Although arizona is working on a extension for him, hes absoutely holding out for UF. Good friend of mine grew up with him and they talk to this day. Im keeping close tabs on it, esp since Arizona is my other team.

He went to UF just to learn from SOS

Hate to be the one to say it BUT if alfraud stays in his lane FAR away from the south and never attaches no dnofrio to his name alfraud would have an entirely different situation right now. He should've learned from schiano. His time here destroyed his coaching career entirely.
FWIW, online rumors are Syracuse has our old buddy on their list. Which is about as far away from the south as you can get. :)
