A Look Back at the Class of 1999

Ive gotten every single one of those, they were offered from Canestime. My copies are VHS, they started in 95

Amazing thread, just amazing. How the **** do you guys get these vids? I'd pay for this kind of quality.

All Sports (now known as All Canes) used to sell videos of every class after signing day. I lost my old VHS's and had to ask around to find new copies.

Luckily, TheSwagger had kept his stored so I got them from him and converted them to DVD. Then YanyCane and I cut them up and put music over them.

Since everything is pretty dead right now, figured I would bump this for the newbies to relive a glorious era.

You have to love Payton. Underappreciated while he was here, but he loves the Canes. Great guy to represent the program.

Jim Sikora's dad used to post on Grassy. I forgot his name but does he still post and did he make it over here?

Pretty sure Jimmy's dad was maracane.

Heady days. Hopefully, we're headed back there soon.

I actually thought Jimmy would contribute here. I played against him in basketball. He was dirty as ****, had decent size for an OL and great feet. The guy just couldn't put on enough weight/strength, I guess.

I'll have to do some digging, here, I got a whole collection of boxing tapes and anything associated with Miami football. I got an ungodly amount of tapes here, lol

I'll trade you a healthy, Cuban child for the video of the 1997 class.

Seriously, name your price. We could put Follow the Leader for the Najeh highlights.

I remember the old videos and dvd's. Me and my brothers have 3 or 4 of them...not sure what years. I have piles (i mean a lot) of old football and basketball newspapers and mag's (a good bit 'Cane game and recruiting related) in the attic. I'll look around and see what i can find. I'll try to post some pics of what I come across.

Much love for all the Canes fans who went through the rough times and got to enjoy the early 2000s.

Nasty class. God ****, Butch was a closer. That UCLA victory was the turning point of the program while the LSU loss was the other.
