Thanks! Always appreciate your info.I don’t know on both. The only thing I know for sure is it’s something to do with the NIL , it’s three players, Zion, Mccloud and maybe LT. The third I’m not 100% on, I heard it in passing, I’m somewhat guessing on LT lol.
If he doesn't have fluidity he certainly will need a high motor. Those are the 2 most important features of a quality DEs. I certainly have been McCloud biggest doubter buy hopefully he has something in him we've never seen.To be fair he has more natural ability at the position , we’ll see if he has the motor of Trent. If he’s anywhere close to that he’ll have a nice year.
From the long lost chickenscratch archives of HighSeas, when I planned to do a full class breakdown and never made it past the LBs smh:I loved Mccloud in Hs. But I always said he was a de, you can find these posts just by searching. His frame, skill set and size was perfect , he was never meant to be in space. It never looked natural. In the biography you’ll see how excited he is for the switch. I imagine he feels like its a new start.
When I say fluidity I mean at olb. He’s got good fluidity for a de. Mccloud is fast straight line , but when he breaks down or is in space that speed is useless. At de he’ll just go and win battles with speed and effort. He’s not going to have a ton of moves beens he’s been playing another position his 9 years at Miami. If he doesn't have fluidity he certainly will need a high motor. Those are the 2 most important features of a quality DEs. I certainly have been McCloud biggest doubter buy hopefully he has something in him we've never seen.

Mccloud is a 3/4 olb much like rouche. Wouldn’t shock me to see him make a roster next year. There was five scouts at our first practice , which is crazy. That’s the most we’ve had around here in awhile. You know why ? Because there’s a bunch of talent, sorry to break some mopes hearts. There could be 10-14 kids drafted in this draft , most being in the middle rounds but still. There’s plenty of NFL talent on this roster. I could see a few going in the first 2-3 rounds.
In spring I said Mccloud was flashing being at his natural spot of de, i wouldn’t be shocked if he started beside Johnson or at the very least getting a bunch of pt. He was always a de , even in hs. I’ve posted multiple times thats where he should be . From his size , frame and speed. He lacked fluidity wnd acceleration to be a Lb.
Speaking of mccloud he’ll be part of a biography on three current players. Zion is another and maybe LT is the third but i can’t remember lol.
Lastly keep an eye on Elijah Robert’s , he’s a guy to watch making a jump. He’s expected to get a lot of pt.

10-14 players is nice but hopefully that doesn't leave the cupboard too bare for the next season...yikes...especially losing 3 younger guys in the last week (avantae, cam williams, payton)There was five scouts at our first practice , which is crazy. With all do respect to your name the thread title should be Crib-bits not tidbitsAlso when I posted about Dons injury months ago I said he’s be a full go by camp, we’ll he is. He’s full go and looked good at the first practice. Pads will let us know if he’s what he was prior to the injury.

Guy was all ACC every year. Only the clowns here thought he wasn’t goodI miss shaq quarterman smfh… he was such a difference maker at linebacker. He was a luxury many of you didn’t know we had until he was gone
