Hopefully he makes the switch to OLB this spring.

Dude is sideline to sideline and loves to strike

He definitely could handle playing OLB..IMO

No need to switch positions. We gonna be running a 4-2-5 he’ll be fine.

He had a really strong season.

you guys want to switch everyones positions. live him and smith in the back field. those boys are a problem together .

I think he will be the hybrid...especially with the surprise Derrick Smith has been. I thought he had huge upside but I also thought he needed a year, shows you how well this staff develops that both of these guys saved the back end of the secondary this year.

Him and Smith are definitely strikers. When they hit you, you are going down.

Love their closing speed.

Dude came on strong toward the end. Gonna be fun to watch the next couple of years

I was surprised we waited so late to have him spying Bryant on 3rd down. Manny really outsmarted himself expecting the base looks to work early. I hope our coaches learned a lesson. In that environment you have you to come out guns blazing. Clemson has been there and they knew it. We came out passive on both sides of the ball and it was over before we knew it.

Yeah, Diaz is blitz crazy all year, then he goes away from it last nite. Understand we might've gotten killed with big chunk plays but ... without the blitzes we had no chance of disrupting Bryant.

Diaz doesnt run the 4-2-5.

Pete has posted a number of times that we are slowly switching to the 4-2-5. Not sure if it will be fully implemented next season but it sounds like we’re moving in that direction especially with how we are recruiting on defense.

The base looks last night were awful - we got gashed and they picked apart Mccloud like he has been all year. Not sure why we went to that defense. Did we move to that defense after bandy went down?

Bandy got hurt on the first 3rd down of the game and we were in that bail out soft zone look on that play so I would say that seemed to be the game plan going in.

Manny Diaz is a horrible DC, and that's the bottom line

Playing a base-look against that offense is unforgivable. Just stupid.

Praying this guy finds a job as a HC this offseason
