BS. They’re treating us just fine. We struggled scoring against UNC. Hopefully, this is a wake up call for next week.

Whether they are treating us fine or not is debatable. The fact that voters don't use scientific methods in their voting and their voting is purely subjective tells me that it is more of which team they "like" and which they don't like.

Computer polls have us as high as #2 and as low as #17 .

Basically no one has any idea how this works anymore and happy that the playoff committee has to do the legwork.

Do you really want teenagers to be playing potentially 16 games in a season? I'll take the four-game playoff...
 
They're treating us just fine. We look like a decent team primed for a bad loss bc of our inconsistent play

Didn't I say like 50 times we're gonna be treated like a G5 team till we beat someone decent? besides, we play like one anyways. UCF would give us a game honestly. I highly doubt we make the top 10 with the CFP come out like I been saying.

There is no real reason to have any committee or any human decision making involved.

I'm with Thadius here we need to go 8 teams
 
While I think we are playing around the ranked 7th or 8th team...i completely disagree with letting other schools jump and undefeated p5 school. The problem isn't that we are barely winning....it's what happens if we ACTUALLY lose. At 6th rank, where we should be based on consistency with how rankings typically work....if we were to lose to VT, we'd drop to maybe 14th. At 9th rank, we'd drop to 19th or 20th. If the following week, if we beat ND...we'd have a chance to be back in the top 10 as 1 loss team with a good win and a good loss. Basically, we are currently being punished for winning now, and it's feast or famine for the next 4 games.

1. If this is a major concern, how about you drop a game from the regular season? Remove a cupcake game.

2. The four-game playoff model creates too many potential problems. 8 is the magic number. 5 conference champions + 3 At-large.

No, they are treating us like we haven't beat anybody "yet", which we haven't. Win the next 2 and we force them to respect.

I get you. But I think it is more that the disappointment is real. We have been in the conversation more this season, than any previous recent season I can recall. I know we all hate ESPN, but they’ll talk more about what fills their programming, than not. We win, and we are the main topic. The quality of our play sucks.

We didn't lose to anyone either. Clemson did.

All we can do is beat who is on our schedule. We can't control what happens before or after.

That's college football, man! We are right where we need to be with our destiny in our own hands. Win and we in...I feel bad for the UCFs of the world, they can't make the same statement of winning out and getting in, being from a G5 conference.

Exactly. Player "safety" and "teenagers" was also one of the weakest arguments against a few extra teams playing one addl game a year.

Yep, I agree. No problems with where we are ranked. Can't almost lose to a 1-7 team and expect to get respect.

Beat VTech and ND and we will be where we want to be.
