Golden has jedi mind ****ed these players. The same way Shannon tricked his players.

These dudes will be beat the **** down come time another coach steps in. Only the young ones won't be totally screwed.
 
Louisville had the ball 55% of the time ran 71 plays and only got 336 yards. They ran for 3.0 and had a total of 4.7. Defense caused two TO's inside the 10. Our offense was inept and obviously STs can't be giving up TDs. I have to think we get the offense going over the next two weeks. Our defense hopefully gets Chad, AQM, and Wyche involved. You can create a storyline for some optimisim going forward until the next grade at Lincoln. Defense has to be feeling good about themselves today.
 
Really liked Courtel the other night. Everytime he was in the game, the center/guard got manhandled.
 
At this point if you buy anything golden is selling you should kill yourself. Nothing is changing.

I have no problem with it if we have great coaches that our kids want to kill for...playing in a scheme that fits them...with coaches that play call the way they expect their kids to play. When you don't have any of the above, there isn't much incentive to begin with and you have a meaningless practice jersey system that is probably joked about in the locker room.

The fashion show was ***, the Jersey thing is good. Its more about a display of status than direct motivation. Guys always want to get or maintain status.

If yu kill yourself you won't stick around to see who is replacement is, then you can make the decision to take your life.
 
If our coaches could make adjustments in the season and say **** it, and go with the 4-3 base defense I would at least retain a little bit of hope. We have the guys to do it, and they've played it their whole lives up to this point. I'm not going to pretend to know more than I do about coaching philosophies and all that jazz, but a base 4-3 with Courtell and Heurt on the inside with AQM, Tyriq, Chad, etc on the outside could be a nice pass rush.

What I don't understand about coaching at any level is if your team is better fit for a 4-3, 3-4 or whatever on either side of the ball why don't you change your game plan. I coach pop warner and high school if my teams talent dictates a spread O is better then a pounding it style then that's what we run. College is different cause you can pick the players for your system, but why no adjustment till they are all the top talent on the field?

To add on with our DEs on the outside would be crazy. Im not just saying this to be bias, but a lot of our DEs have huge NFL potential, I'm talking about first three rounds if used right in a 4-3. Hate to admit it, but Golden is not doing them any favors to get them that high in the draft which is the sad part.

What we need to know is the color scheme for the coaches. Stupid = ? color; More Stupid = ? color; Dumbest mother o them all = ? color. Why are the practicing? Players have Al's defense an offense down pat. Neither can be played any better. Send the kid to class to work on grades: and send coaches to some frigging high school coaching clinics so they can learn about football.
 
This solves a lot of problems right now. Never will happen but that is all we have left at the moment:

Chick/Chad
Heurtelu/Jenkins
Pierre/Kamalu (or flipped)
AQM/McCord (or flipped

Grace/Kirby
Perryman/Young
Armbrister/Owens

When teams spread us out:

Same front 4

Grace
Perryman

Howard
Gunter
Crawford or Elder in the slot
Bush
Crawford/Carter


Best part about it IMO is it sets up the young guys for success. Next year Chick leaves, Chad slides in with Jackson behind him. Harris is a DE. Pierre out, Moten steps in his spot.

Smith and McCray might be the only 2 left without a true position.

Jenkins, hurtlelou, wyche means stout interior.

Kamalu, Chick, at strong side end

Thomas, McCord & aqm at pass rushing end

Perryman is ideally a 4-3 middle

Start Jermaine Grace

Put Fentress or jamal carter as your extra db.

You just upgraded your speed on defense by 1000%
