I never said we would we don't have the depth to go undefeated. I'm just saying ND is overrated.

I'll say it plainly. I was never amused by CMR doing the post game smiling, great sportsmanship, devout Christian, classy loser handshake all those years against the likes of Muschump, and whatever below average team that was admitted into the SEC East (like Mizzou). Not being able to compete in the SEC East the last ten years is no better than us not competing for Coastal titles.

Dorito and Golden have NOTHING on CMR, who let Treon Harris run up 60,000 rushing and passing yards against his teams.

THAT is what worries me. That, and the fact he might just lay down for FSU every year for sentimental reasons.

Other than that, our team HAS to be 100xs better with hin as HC compared to Folden, Fester and Radio.

Do you actually watch college football or are you like most Cane fans who have little to no knowledge of college football outside of UM....Missouri over the last ten years is in the top ten of all BCS schools for wins....and they have done it in two big time football conferences.
 
As for home field advantage... we don't have it. Home field advantage takes time and beating the dog **** out of everyone to prove IT'S OUR HOME FIELD. Because since leaving the OB many teams in the ACC have played numerous ORANGE BOWL games or ACC PLAY OFF games at the Sun Life, when we're sitting home watching TV... Till we start talking the talk and walking the walk there is no advantage in their mind.

North Carolina can go from 6-7 to 11-2 with 1/2 the talent Miami has but Miami can't improve on 8 wins from last season despite upgrading the entire coaching staff? Holy **** some people are losers. They have that loser mind frame. Nine or ten REGULAR season wins is a very realistic prediction .

New coaches, concepts, schemes and system... takes more then a few summer practices to nail it down.

Beg to differ. We now HAVE a coach, some concepts, schemes and system -- no adjustment to change, just acceptance of more traditional Cane offense and defense. If we think the last ten years, then yeap, no way we do anything but suck. If Mark is going to succeed, then he must see a Cane, feel a Cane, and be a Cane -- not nole, dog or lion. We must be Canes or remain nothing.

Let's just say Miami ends up losing to FSU and Notre Dame. The rest of their schedule looks a lot like UNC's from 2015. that's still a 10-2 regular season with an ACCCG appearance and bowl game.

I hear ya. I just think that game will be tougher for all the reasons I mentioned, despite NDs personnel losses.
