I predict- actually I KNOW you are a pussboy with a loser attitude! Never ever come here again predicting a loss to Fsu

FSU? whatever clown they start at QB will best Kaaya, and their running game is light years better than ours. Kaaya's not going to suddenly make plays against them. He had a dozen chances in the last two games, make a play and win the game, and he wasnt even close.

ND is a game CMR always loses. Ask Muschump or Treon Harris, or Butch Jones. We arent going to win big games like that. People are crazy, going up there for the game. They will be taunted out of the stadium by halftime.

VT will be a LOT better under Fuentes. Has to be. Beamer's only claim to fame was beating Shalalas mental midgets.

Default dullard, Corch Fedora has a huge advantage, he's in the awful Coastal, and we have yet to see if CMR can best him.

I think GT will be the key to the season. If CMR goes up there and pounds that bad high school program, we may be on to something. If we cant beat GT, we aint beating nobody.

So, we actually could throw the ND and FSU games, and win out for 10-2. We should. If CMR is any kind of coach, 10-2 and a ACC CG we can win should be the litmus test.

I'm still calling 8-4 :(

LOL! NOTHING easier to predict the last 10 years, than a 100% choke and puke against FSU.

I can understand and respect someone who attempts to look at things objectively without the myopia that results from donning a pair of orange and green glasses. Having said that you do not fit that description. No, you like to gratuitously revel in negativity like a pig content to be chest deep in mud and *****. You then come over here and peddle your doom and gloom under the auspices of being a "realistic" fan.

You had it made last year because you could whine and cry to your heart's content all while conveniently using Fat Al and his cadre of imbeciles as cover. It was a fact that Al was a joke and the program was headed down the toilet so obviously nobody would think of calling you out as a mopey chicken little.

Now with all the extremely positive change that has taken place at UM since then you continue to trot out your sourpuss routine claiming how easy it is to predict a FSU loss and other assorted drivel. You remind me of that character in Charlie Brown named pigpen. You know the guy that always had a black cloud over his head. Folden is gone! Your act is old and tired.

Whats the word on the skreets?

You think 10-2? (That should guarantee a Coastal and a ACC CG)

9-3? (Maybe ACC CG)

8-4? (no nada for the Coastal)

I say two stone cold, solid lock losses against Free Shoes and ND.

And two L's against the UNC, VT and GT Coastal matchups. But no Goldenesque losses to UVA, Pitt, etc.

8-4, third in the Coastal. A shame, as the Coastal will once again be the weakest division by far in the Power five.

Maybe we pull off 2 wins against GT, VT and UNC., but with a default ACC loss against FSU, it still puts us at second or tied for first with a head to head loss and no ACC CG (We should win all three)

Seriously, 8-4 and no Coastal has to be a failed season. Fedora or Fuentes winning the Coastal doesnt bode well for CMR. I really hope we do better, but I'm calling 8-4.

10-2!! BUT WE BEAT FREE SHOES U any Canes fan that thinks different go watch The U 30 for 30, The U Reloaded, and The U pt. 2 because you have been brain washed for too long by Al Folden and Dorito Breath!! We The U that mentality of giving up before we even play is a Folden mentality, **** we should've beaten them 2 years in a row if we had a competent coaching staff; and i don't care what any FSU fan has to say about it!
8-4 is a "Goldenesque" thinking, we should never lose to UNC or GT, VT while has had some decent teams is under new leadership too and I don't expect much of a challenge from them this year. **** we should've destroyed VT last year but Folden happened and we were fighting to keep a lead. That way of thinking is gone The U spent more money then ever on a coach and we are already seeing results from what CMR & Co. have done in 8 months.

At the very least 8 wins. But I'm guessing 9-10

I think people are looking past UVA and Pitt too easily. Although UVA is breaking in a new couch, they have some good talent and historically we struggle against them. Narduzzi has Pitt in the right direction and they have talent as well.

So you're saying UVA will not be lying down with their new couch?

The three that concern me are ND, FSU, and UNC. I'd bet we win at least one of those, most likely FSU given that it's FSU.

However, it's not like in the past few years where you'd look and say no way do we stand a chance. There's not a single game on our schedule that is not winnable.

9-3 regular. No Coastal. +1 bowl win. First 10+ win in forever. First bowl win since Coker in 2006. We gotta crawl before we walk. Everyone calm down.

:monkey-serious:

Get the **** all the way out of here!

The expectations are high from the fanbase which is to be expected.

What bothers me is that many on here look at games like GT,VT,UVA,Pitt,NCST and even UNC as automatic wins.

Are those realistic expectations? Maybe for our teams of the late 80s early 90s and the 2000-2001 team but not this team which finished near last in so many stats in the ACC last year it would take a whole page to go through them all.

With that said, I think we will be better than we have been in a while but I only see 3 "easy" games on our schedule .All the rest will require this team to play well to good to great for us to win.

I am hoping for 12-0,11-1,10-2 but I wouldnt bet a penny on it and neither would you.

You get it

Everyone forgets the hype... new coach, new season, we gonna kick *** and run the table. People feeding off each other and building up their expectations before the first kick off.

Costly mistakes are gonna happen. Blown assignments are gonna happen. Injuries are gonna happen. Back- up need reps. New systems take time to develop.

Give Richt time to mold the staff and players...

1st year top 20 learning year
2nd year top 10 if Kaaya stays

We have the talent for a 10 win season but the depth is a concern at certain positions. Plus the talent of that depth is still a very big question mark. Since remaining injury free the entire season is not a reality, we have to have our key guys stay healthy. With good luck a 10 win season is achievable but we will have to see how this team plays.

9-3.............possibly 10-2! I think we take UNC this year; revenge game from last year. The FSU streak ends this year, too.

I predict 11-1 or 10-2.. loss in both situations is to Notre Dame. I personally feel like we could beat Notre Dame but with that game being in the cold and in South Bend then I'll just play it safe and take the L. The only way I believe we get 2 losses is because the 2nd one is against a random coastal team on the road. But every single game is 100% winnable until we get to the ACCCG, where we will meet Clemson and unfortunately probably lose..

If Miami has two losses then you need to hope one of them is ND because the other non conf games are all easy wins. That puts you with only one conference loss and most likely into the conf champ....

U guys are nuts... Seriously take off the tinted glasses

All you guys predicting 11-1, 10-2 season this year need to take a deep breath of fresh air.

As much as I love Miami, we are not there yet.

New coaches, concepts, schemes and system... takes more then a few summer practices to nail it down.

9 and 3 and maybe Coastal.

WHICH WOULD BE A HUGE STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

So tell me, why the **** did we fire Golden? He won 9 in 2013 against an equally crappy schedule. Our coaching staff is the best we've had here in many, many years. The leap we are about to make won't be baby steps. These kids, especially the ones on D, have been absolutely dying to get out there and get after someone. We hired the best DL coach in America. We hired a DC that wants to let them loose to attack. You think this won't mean more wins? Then look at the O. A solid group of RBs. One of the best QBs in the country. One of the best offensive minds calling plays. I swear, if we don't see a huge jump in quality in year one, I would be very shocked. We are about to reintroduce the Miami Hurricanes to the college football world in a big way, and you're still expecting Al Golden results. I'm not expecting Al Golden results anymore. He's gone, as are all of his ideologies. Did I mention Techmo Coley is gone as well??? That alone is good for at LEAST one more win.
