If we were talking about a competent administration, then I would say yes, something is afoot.

I want to believe he's gone but he will pop up soon with some bs excuse to why he hasn't been available.
 
It is clear that he will be the coach for at least another year unless someone else hires him away which probably isnt going to happen

This is the same admin that let him spit in their faces last December going AWOL and begging ped state to hire him and still feel like they owe him for "sticking with us" during the ncaa investigation even though he had no other options and was being paid $2.5M to lose 6 games a year.

They're schmoes, and Folden tosses them around whenever he feels like it.

The thing about the coaching situation is that Butch is available and will likely be there after the bowl game to. Even if butch isn't the first option he's a safety net of sorts. Basically if we fired golden now we could make a run at Butch and if we fired golden after the bowl game we could still go after butch so I don't think it's THAT dire although sooner is better then later.
 
He's gone he's just recruiting so he can be considered Butch Davis'esk so when new coach comes wins immediately with Al's recruits Al gets hailed as a outstanding recruiter finds a great gig 2016.....I see into the future guys
 
During the "cloud" Al grew accustom to spending December with the fam. He's just taking some me time. Its about flexibility and work from home guys. Think about it, he can just as easily think of coaching insights like, "its one me to fix it" and "we need to improve in all 3 phases" from his basement. He doesn't need to be on greentree to concoct such gems.
