It’s not Heatherman, in my opinion.

When we lost Etheridge, I said that it would be a huge loss. Not only was he our DB’s coach, but also our defensive passing game coordinator. Now we’re seeing just how big of a loss it was.

The dude that we hired to take his place is buns. Our DB’s look completely lost in coverage, and our LB’s are just as bad.

UGA’s defense looked like it was sniffing paint against Auburn. Probably will look bad against Ole Miss too. It happens.
 
The secondary is the weak point. On the bright side OJ will be back. Given this offense, we just need to be a little better. Every play counts. Game plan also was not good tonight, terrible quite frankly. I think the guys still have room for coaching.

Defense just has to be good enough. Clear its not as at the level it was last year but it doesn't have to be. But definitely needs to be better than it was tonight.

We have to have accountability on the defensive side of the ball. Did Hetherman do an after game presser?
 
It is what it is. Score more than the other team. This defense right now is inconsistent. Maybe they tighten up maybe they don’t. Regardless Dawson gone earn his coin along with Mensah and Toney. I trust our offense

The 2024 offense was great but not championship caliber if it was we wouldn’t have lost to Syracuse or Tech.

It was the #1 offense in the country by far, you can cherry pick games all you want. It was better than every offense that won the natty in this era but since the defense sucked you can say stupid **** like this

Uga had 3 turnovers maybe 4 and they held them to 24 points
