Ballin. Dude erased that long pass. I don't want to hear our safeties aren't ballin.
He’s still adjusting and making plays but he’s far better than redactedBallin. Dude erased that long pass. I don't want to hear our safeties aren't ballin.
He has been unbelievable. But for guys like 3, 4, and 8, he’d be the best player on our defense.Scot really made a **** of play by setting edge and funneling play back in, could go unnoticed by casuals but that is soo good..
Did you catch Saban on Gameday last week talking about our defense?Scot really made a **** of play by setting edge and funneling play back in, could go unnoticed by casuals but that is soo good..
He also circled back to help make a tackle if needed. He also played all but 1 snap! Had himself a game.Scot really made a **** of play by setting edge and funneling play back in, could go unnoticed by casuals but that is soo good..
Yea I mentioned it when he said it, he was literally gushing.Did you catch Saban on Gameday last week talking about our defense?
He was commenting about how he teaches his kids to not stop when tackling. If you miss you miss but don’t ever stop and think and he sees it with us all the time
If Poyser misses there it at least slows the ball carrier down trying to make a move where if he’s less aggressive the guy gets momentum and can probably make him miss into a big play
Zero hesitation by Poyser. Loved to see it.
The fact we keep Lucas, Damari, OJ, Poyser, Fitz - add one more veteran safety and you have another major strength back there.Thank god we have him for at least another year
Been fantastic thus far. Awesome he grew up a canes fan too. Really popped off the screen on the rewatch for meDid you catch Saban on Gameday last week talking about our defense?

Considering he was back in the game after the injury, seems to be fine.I haven't seen anything on the Poyser injury. I assume nothing serious right?
and one of our better/bigger DB classes coming in... and not forgetting Amari Wallaces potential....The fact we keep Lucas, Damari, OJ, Poyser, Fitz - add one more veteran safety and you have another major strength back there.
Yeah that’s always the concern with these guys when they step way up in comp. He struggled a bit against ND but seems to be getting better every weekYea I mentioned it when he said it, he was literally gushing.
Said he loves, loves LOOOOOVES this defense.. Highest compliment I would imagine for a DC like Hetherman calling plays only for a couple seasons.
Edit @JHallCanes Poyser is coming into his own, in interview after ND he made a comment about the players on this level being big AND fast.. COmmented about Jadarian Price.. I thought it was eye opening but also showed something more than typical answers we usually get. He knew he was gonna have to step game up.
Portal and NIL really changing lives in a flash. Guy like Mensah, grew up on foodstamps, had one decent offer, 2 star composite I think. Unknown going into last year.. 3 months later, $4 milli offer..What a ride it must be for this kid right now.
Grow up in Wildwood, nobody pays you any attention, you're stuck in Jacksonville, Alabama for 2 years, now you're playing every snap for the #1 team in America playing in prime-time on national television every week.
