65 scholarship players available

If you think about it, it's less than that. 65 includes Loftus, Mahoney, Jones, Knighton, Henley, McCray (guys that have no business here) and guys like Allison, Haskins, Tre Johnson that are healthy but redshirting. We're operating close to an NFL 52 man roster.

Some people ask why you need that many, and you really don't, except it really helps in the summer, spring, and fall creating more competition across the board and depth that we desperately need. I'd imagine that if we had a full 85 man roster (10 additional recruits we landed or had space for over the years) the additional 10 would be at least 2-3 additional draft picks on our roster, another 2 potential starter caliber players, about 3 guys in our 2 deep, and 2 misses or injury riddled players. That's why injuries to our guys ruin our seasons.

That doesn't mean Al Golden specials filling those last 10 slots, it's gotta be quality recruits that bring something to the table, someone with potential. Like taking Redwine late worked out pretty well and signing Henley late was just a reach and did nothing but give up a scholarship we could have used elsewhere

How has that affected our offense so far? Has that been a factor in us averaging 18 points per game over the last 3 against ****** defenses?

You guys who think you're doing UM and Rick any favors by making all these dopey excuses are doing nothing but fueling people to point out facts to refute this nonsense.

Our defense is decimated by injuries right now, and that's an absolutely valid reason for us to struggle on D. Offense? No, sir.

Ask the Butch Brigade why it took Butch six years to win and you'll hear about how little depth he started with. But when Richt inherits a decimated roster, we get DMoney telling us that we had NFL players in 2013, therefore Richt has talent. Got it, chief.

Having mediocre skill players and a bad O-line would be a valid reason, though.

Dumb, but expected. You two mopes really don't get how a lack of depth leads to poor performance? The o-line sucks......but we have no one else to put in there. Our receivers are mediocre.......but we have no one else to put in there. You don't have to have "injuries" for a lack of depth to hurt you. Common sense.

Good God. Liberty was 9-27 passing and had no chance to win the game. Why would VT pin their ears back against an offense that can't move the ball anyway? Could you people maybe run your posts by someone privately before embarrassing yourselves publicly?

We had three sacks against FAMU and two sacks against Florida State. FSU and FAMU must have similar offensive protection packages and quality of talent.

Mediocre, huh? Whatever let's you sleep better at night. Explain why our Offense struggled against FAU then. Depth and talent weren't issues against that team. Richt is part of the problem but carry on with your tantrum.

Because they are mediocre. And yes, we have more talent than FAU, that's why we won 38-10. Was there a valid point in there somewhere?

Lmao...the score was pretty similar. Can't remember Foster being a passive DC under any circumstances.

So you just don't understand how coaches approach games differently. I'm not judging you just because you're new to the sport. We all had to learn at some point.

Then explain why our Offense had more success last year against FAU? Explain how Kansas State, who has mediocre talent, destroyed FAU 63-7. You won't explain it. Because you're in total denial that Richt is a major part of the problem with our Offense. That "talent" argument is a weak, innacurate and desperate one. Coming from you, that's expected.

You're still spinning. Foster's defense is going to be aggressive regardless of who the opponent is. The game was well out of reach but Kaaya was still getting dropped. Did you even watch the game?
