6 spots left who takes them

If the NCAA raises the cap, they might as well engrave that 2023 national championship trophy for Miami now. :)

We would still need to process a lot of guys even if they raise the 25 initial counter limit.

We are currently at 76 scholarship players (not counting the walk-ons who were awarded scholarships)
We only have 9 Seniors on the current roster.
That gives us only 9+9 = 18 open slots to 85 (as it currently stands)

There are 12 Redshirts Juniors who may choose or be asked to grad transfer or enter the NFL draft.
(Martell, Perry, Burns, Few, Gaynor, Hillery, Herbert, Jennings, Steed, Bolden, Phillips, Hedley)

We will probably lose 3-4 underclassmen to the NFL draft.
(Rousseau, Jordan, Davis, Wiggins, Pope, Scaife, Silvera, Ivey, Blades, Frierson, Hall)

Transfer Portal may open up a few slots as well.
A couple guys may retire due to injury or get dismissed.

The numbers always works itself out but signing a big class in 2021 will take away from the 2022 class.

Have to ride the momentum and grab as many elite players as we can now, regardless of 2022. Dont know when were going to be able to recruit like this again.

In total I think we lose 15 if u add the underclassman and redshirts

Who has a bigger impact on the team assuming they both commit to the U, Leonard Taylor or Jason Marshall?

I personally would always take an elite interior pass rusher over an elite CB if forced to choose. QBs can move the ball away from that CB, but can't ignore that DT on every snap. ... But Manny doesn't need to make that choice.
