This weekend, Miami will have tons of prospects inside the Carol Soffer Indoor Practice Facility for the Legends Camp. One of the top blue-chip recruits in the class of 2028 will be in attendance in Coral Gables this weekend.
Five-star wide receiver Madoxx Davis will be spending time in the South Florida sunshine to participate in the Legends Camp, he tells CanesInsight. This will be Madoxx first time on campus since receiving an offer from Miami back in March. I had a chance to speak with him about his upcoming trip to Coral Gables.
"I am definitely looking forward to visiting the campus and facilities in Miami," he added. "I’m looking forward to meeting more of the coaching staff and getting to see how they operate. I have spoken to Coach Beard a few times and I can tell that he values me as a player and puts great effort into getting to know me."
Along with Miami, Davis holds additional offers from the likes of 38 schools, including Ohio State, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Boston College, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, among others.
The wide receiver is rated as a five-star prospect and currently ranks as the No. 20 overall player in the 2028 class, the No. 3 prospect in the state of Georgia, and the No. 5 wide receiver nationally. Davis is measured in at 5-foot-10, 190-pounds. He currently attends Cartersville High School in Cartersville, Georgia, where he finished up his sophomore season with 36 receptions for 774 yards and six touchdowns.
