5-star WR Calvin Russell commits to [checks notes] Syracuse? For real, though... Syracuse

Smh, Adidas not steering any of these kids to Adidas schools. What do they (Adidas) benefit even signing a HS kid that can’t/won’t wear their apparel during the games?
They can’t even wear any other brands anywhere in the athletic facilities. I’m pretty sure that’s Nike’s policy.

I just had to assume it was sarcasm
I had that thought briefly, but he's from Detroit originally and is a pretty die hard Lions fan....and that's the part that assured me he wasn't being sarcastic. The most amazing part is to watch him act like Mama Bear when it comes to Megatron, yet shoot wet diarrhea all over so much of our Hurricane football program. Good times!

Without knowing how long the endorsement is for, they'll at least wear Adidas through this weekend's OT7 playoffs (which live on with Youtube views), and their entire senior HS seasons, both on field and in advertising. There has to be impicit incentives for the ones who end up at sponsored schools though, right?

Cot ****! 200MG and Im drooling on myself on the couch
They have these 250 mg gummy strips here n Cal. I had a case of bronchitis a while back and tried them out. When I woke up several hours later, I was so stoned it took me a bit to figure out if I was sick, stoned or both and how it happened. It took about 18 hours to not be stoned. It's just too much.

I also once stepped away from the stage at a Cypress Hill/Sublime with Rome show because I wanted to just breathe oxygen. Maybe I'm just a puss.

The #1 WR in the country is going to end up at an Adidas school because of his Adidas deal

Adidas keeps making the same mistakes over & over again. It baffles my mind that no matter who’s in charge, they keep doing the same **** that doesn’t pan out in the end.

Adidas is having success sponsoring Ukrainian drone fodder to cover the profitability gap

What’s the mistake ?

2:

1. Adidas NIL players have been signing w their rival brands out of HS, thus giving unwanted, unintended notoriety to boost perception of their rivals.

2. Trying to sign all the best when they don’t have the infrastructure to give priority to more than a few at a time. This failure has been on an individual & program level.

This is y several of their signature athletes bounce after a couple of yrs b/c Adidas promises the world, but it has hella contingencies. ****, look at just a recent fiasco that happened w Cam Ward:

When he was projected as the Heisman winner, Adidas quickly signed & promoted him; however, once the projections began leaning towards Hunter, they threw a huge bag at him, & focused all their attention on him, leaving Ward in the rear view. Now Ward is w UA.

It’s why I’ve told this fan base for eons stop worrying about Adidas NIL athletes. Remember when we thought we were going to get Brown III last cycle b/c he was a Florida kid that signed a NIL deal w Adidas? How that work out? So I’ll repeat, NEVER care if a kid signs a NIL deal w Adidas. It doesn’t help their branded schools, & they operate upon attrition. If a kid attends an Adidas school it’s by happenstance, meaning kudos to the staff for recruiting them.

If U make them (Adidas) look good, they’ll be ur best friend; but, if they r not fully monetizing off u, u will be an afterthought.

Cam Ward has elite intangibles. That’s part of what makes him what he is.

You mentioned TO. Why did so many teams get rid of him in his prime?
Teams weren't getting RID of him at all. HE forced his way out. Very big difference. Minnesota didn't want to let him go anywhere. Him and Dante weren't getting along anymore even before the injury. Him and Brett didn't get along AT ALL. Dennis getting fired was probably the last straw for him. He was miserable with the raiders cause they refused to admit they needed a QB. All they had was an old racist drunk man. Don't know what stories you've heard about Randy. But he's VERY OPINIONATED. Over the top racist won't go well with him. After the patriots his career was basically over. He had some of his best statistical years while he was with the Patriots. But when Brady got hurt he did his usual. This isn't a question of what he was as a teammate or who he was off the field. On the field without debate he is by far the best receiver ever in the try and take that away from him is insane. I read something on here that said he didn't do anything after the catch. Brother I'm sorry but whatever makes you think that's the case you might want to go back and check his resume. Randy Moss after the catch was electric. You keep mentioning this over the middle comment and you're not understanding maybe no outside receivers want to make a living over the middle there's a reason for that. It's called that's where careers end. Why would you want to be a speedster going across the middle as a coach you would never want an elite outside receiver going across the middle That's where DB's take your head off that's where lineman take your head off that's where linebackers take your head off. Simply from a strategy perspective would have been completely asinine to have him making a living over the middle of the field a 6-4 210 lb receiver that runs a 4-2 you're going to tell him come across the middle. Come on
