I think the kid genuinely loves Miami but the bag is too good to say no too, its like there forcing him to go play in the SEC. I think this happens to most kids they love Miami but the life changing money is too much to say no too and one thing u love more than UM is your family.

I wish I could like this a billion times. You just can't blame a kid for changing the trajectory of his family with a bag. Sure it's disappointing but any of us would do the same as a high school kid.

Yea its why I get it, I may not like it cause it affects the team I love. But I get it, UM always preached family but its not about family if u aint taking care of a players family or is it? interesting

Its a tough tight rope when it comes to family UM and bags

If this kid chose to go to Bama, OSU, or LSU with their long track record of developing players at his position would be understandable, but to consider UGAy, Clemson, Auburn or others that do not have as good as a track record as the U of putting players in the league then you know it’s all BS....

He's listed at 6'5" 218 now.

If he stays on defense, he could end up being a DE.

He still has 2 years of HS to go.
Have you seen this kid ball hawking in games? Would be really dumb for him to play on the line. He has elite safety traits

Huh? Those are the wrong schools to put on that list.

Kid sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders - but you know how South Florida kids are............."We love the U, we bleed green and orange" - and end up attending college out of state.

Kelvin Harris said on a podcast he sees him with his hand in the dirt by the time he reaches college because he’ll be 240-250. I couldn’t believe it. Dudes an elite safety that at worst case would play a striker type role if he gets too big.
