Some of you doofuses think because a fan enjoys winning more than losing they can’t see the team has flaws.

Just because you’re miserable doesn’t mean everyone else has to be.
 
Those naysayers here are funny. I had a relative who played under Urban Meyer. Got to meet a bunch of Bull Gators before a game. All they did was complain about Urban because the defense wasn't playing up to snuff or the offense messed up. Personally I love the way things are going, love the growing pains as long as it is with wins. We could face Clemson again and might even get lucky, but all I want from here is a January Bowl game.

The only positive I can come up with is that Harley played great and we have somewhat cleaned up the penalties. Although Payton needs to be smarter
 
Good thing some of these miserable mopes weren't around back in 2001. You know, when Miami had what some argue to be the greatest team ever assembled but struggled to eek out a win vs lowly Boston College 18-7.

Or what about watching a VT player later in the same season drop a game tying 2 point conversion at the end of the game to eek out another CANES win 26-24.

The Canes should have curb stomped both of those teams in 2001. But they didn't and it didn't matter then and it doesn't matter now.

Some of these cats need to calm the *** down and enjoy the ride. 5-1 feels good. Putting a 50 burger on fsu feels good. ***** slapping Lville feels good. Everyone expected us to be 5-1 at this point in the season. Mission accomplished. One game at a time. 6-1 here we come!!!

U can be happy with our record and winning an ugly game and still realize we are far from a finished product with many holes to fill. Would u rather we lose? I don’t understand why idiots can’t understand this go be negative in ur closet and cry urself to sleep. Wahhhhh were not killing everyone like Clemson wahhhhhhh. Wahhhhh we barely beat UVA. Mother ****** we couldn’t beat a HS team last year we improved sorry we didn’t improve to a playoff team in 7 months during covid. God I can’t stand this fan base we have to be the worst out there
 
Some of you just don't get it. It's not about this one game. It's about what this program has done for a decade plus. Well coached teams get better as the season goes on. We seem to be getting worse every week. If we go 10-1, I'll be the first one to give this staff props but how any can honestly expect us to go 10-1 the way we have performed the last 3 weeks, I don't just don't get. I don't see any progress. I still see many of the same issues as last year except we have a better QB this year. A QB whose a one year rental (2 if he decides to take the free year the NCAA is giving if we are lucky). The player development is still lacking and coaching staff still seems like minor league compared to even average ACC teams let alone against top teams. Still a long way to go.

Don’t have to be a well oiled machine to win 10 games and land some studs to help us get to what we want. 10 and 11 wins will land us some big timers. Pay attention

We beat all the teams this season that we beat last year so far, so I cant see this huge improvement you speak of. I see a small improvement after not losing to a 2nd string QB following a bye. Let’s beat the weak teams we lost to last year before pounding our chests. Still have powerhouses GT, VT, and UNC to go.

It actually has absolutely nothing to do with the last 10 years. That's what you don't get.

What Manny, King, Lashlee and Pope do has no ties or relevance to what Shannon, Jacory and Damien Berry did. That's just you projecting your own fears and hangups on tp this team.

We are 5-1. It's been a beautiful, flawed, frustrating, exciting first six games.

Some of us prefer to watch it play out than waste time talking about how much this season or last game reminds us of Al Golden, Shannon Richt's time here.

I agree if u hate seeing this team at 5-1 then don’t ******* watch. Just hope for losses I guess but I watch and hope we win sorry I want to win idc how just ******* be leading when the clock hits 0

Totally agree, now i see why ufag, fspoo fans be talking crazy bout certain um fans! Every step forward isn't a blow out by 30. Its basically finding a way to win when u don't play your best and improving week to week that's a convo f4 another day! If u expected us to look like clem, baga, or taint after last year then you set your self up f4 failure. I was looking f4 wins, culture change, accountability, and beat the teams were supposed to beat...u kno like the 5 teams we've beaten already!!

we also limited our penalties again. after weeks of double digit penalties, the last two weeks of aorund 5-6 have been a welcome sight.
 
Just win.

It is simple to me and complex to others.

"Just win" is what many people say on this board but they do not really meant it. Many want us to dominate every single game.

When I say it though... ...I mean it. Just win. Survive and advance and keep on winning. Especially this season when many people around here were saying we would not even get to see the Canes play due to a pandemic.

Every game we play is a blessing. And Winning feels sweet to me no matter what.
