I think it was a win and for a team who hasn't done much of it the last 15 years, I'll take it. Some games are sloppy when you're not an elite team.

a deeper reason is also we followed it up w no good QB play following that year. once rosier was figured out by defenses it was done and perry wasnt the answer. were hoping TVD is the guy who takes us to another level

I love the canes as much as the next guy, but we’ve regressed since Clemson. This was an absolutely putrid UVA team missing their two starting safeties and one of their best WR’s, and we were embarrassing.

And no point were we ever in danger of losing that game. We just didn't capatilze in the red zone.

We beat a ranked UVA last year. We literally beat these clowns with N’kosi. Different coordinator, different quarterback, similar ugly *** game again this season.

****, even when you are, you'll have sloppy games. remember BC in 01? even Clemson has sloppy Ws. were not elite so dont expect us to go out and dominate. so far, we've won pretty comfortably against teams we should win and had an ugly W tonight in the rain. just dont make it a habit. enjoy the W but learn from it. there are improvements to be made which is a good thing bout a ugly win

5-1 teams don't suck.... Jesus christ I'm so sick of this elitism from our fan base. Wake up guys it's not 2001. We're not going to go out week to week and hang our nuts on opponents. We were literally 6-7 last year and lost to MF FIU and got shut out by LA Tech!!!! Right now we're 5-1 and our only loss is Clemson. I'm **** happy were 5-1 and proud of this team. I'm not going to get upset because we're not winning by 20+ every game. Losing programs with terrible culture take time to change but some people in this fan base want instant gratification. It's just not going to happen guys. There are going to be sloppy wins at times while we build this roster and learn how to win. For the last 15 years I've watched this team lay TF down when things don't go there way, quit and lose the game. We just watched two games where things didn't go our way but instead of laying down, they fought all night and went home with the W. These are the signs you want to see when you are building a program.
